Island Winds East Units: During Spring Break, mid-May through mid-August, Labor Day, and the Shrimp Festival event, each unit is allotted one (1) parking pass, regardless of its size. Extra parking options are available offsite, and please note that these arrangements may be subject to change.
On-site paid parking is available and managed by the property's HOA. Parking passes can be purchased upon arrival and are valid for the duration of your stay. Please be sure to display the pass clearly on your driver's side dashboard at all times while on the property.

For the comfort and safety of all guests, U-hauls, trailers, boats, jet skis, buses, and similar vehicles are not permitted on the property.

Keep looking for a different place to stay

Let’s start with the positives: -the condominium complex is in a fantastic location -the unit had toilets that flushed -the air conditioner worked -the eighth floor view was wonderful That’s where the fun ended. The unit was disgustingly dirty. Filthy. The sinks and tubs did not adequately drain. Gross. The mattresses were so worn that they were “U” shaped. The other furniture was stained and was dirty. I felt like I needed to bathe after sitting on it—-but then I remembered the tub didn’t drain....so no to that. The ceilings were stained. There were ZERO overhead lights. We had to use flashlights. Only a few lamps worked. It. Was. Awful. For the amount of money I expected more, like draining sinks and furniture that didn’t look like it survived a frat house. Our friends stayed in a unit in the same complex. It looked like it was out of a magazine and was at a better price point. Long story long, don’t stay in this unit unless it is the absolutely last unit available, and then check further toward orange beach or dauphin island. It is a disappointing pit of despair. Do a better job management company. Shame on you.

Love the location and decor of the condo

The location of this condo is awesome! RIGHT ON THE BEACH! We had a miserable time at check in. That night we had to get room keys replaced TWICE! Apparently, when the key card rubs against a car remote it deactivates it!!! It was reassuring however that someone was in the office (24 hrs) to help us. One thing that could also be improved with this condo property is for them to provide an area map to renters as to where the public parking is! They only allow you to park 1 vehicle on the lot and the other(s) have to park in public parking across the street and down 2 blocks. Condo was clean except for the dishes. The plates, silverware, and some pots & pans were dirty. I would advise to wash EVERYTHING upon arrival just in case the prior tenants did not. Oh, and there are only 6 forks so bring extra or plastic ones. Fully stocked kitchen including a crock pot though! Master bedroom mattress was uncomfortable with dips. Spare room mattresses were fine. Lots of storage via dressers. Bring binoculars to spy dolphins in the ocean from the deck! oh and whatever you do DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT shop at Walmart if arriving on Sat or Sun!!!!!! It was so crowed and shelves emptied that we had to stop because we were developing panic attacks...NO LIE! We went to Rouse's Market on Mon to finish our grocery list. I would definitely recommend a grocery store instead of Walmart!!!!!
