Somewhere in Sand 1 is a luxury beachfront home by Harris Vacations! Somewhere in Sand 1 features 7 bedrooms, 7.5 bathrooms, and a private pool. This direct beachfront home is located in the desirable area of West Beach and features premium amenities such as an elevator that will give you access to the 1st and 2nd floors, private pool, double kitchen, and a beautiful pool deck with access to the beach!  Somewhere in Sand 2 is located next door and both homes can be rented to accommodate up to 36 guests. Both homes have the same floor plans, amenities, and décor. These properties are perfect for larger groups needing extra space. Somewhere in Sand 1 is a fabulous vacation home for a reunion, a multi-family vacation, or a group retreat. Come and enjoy this spectacular home!

About Somewhere in Sand 1

Standing tall in the popular West Beach area of Gulf Shores stands Somewhere in Sand 1. This stunning direct beachfront home features a host of lavish amenities for guests to enjoy. The main level gulf front deck features a private pool that can be heated during the cooler months. There is also a table to enjoy outdoor meals and beverages. Gain easy access to the beach with the newly built private dune walk.

You will find stunning Gulf views from nearly every window and door of this new home. The gorgeous chef’s kitchen features beautiful countertops, backsplash, cabinets, and stainless appliances. There is a walk-in pantry for additional storage plus an icemaker and the second refrigerator. Enjoy dinner with a view, play games, or put together a puzzle at 1 of the 2 dining tables. Also on this level are 2 comfortable living areas and a cute little window seat.

Guests can navigate to the first and second floors with ease thanks to the elevator. On the second floor, which features 3 of the bedrooms and 1 of the laundry closets, guests will love an additional living area complete with TV and access to the second-floor balcony. The master bedroom is found here with a king bed, Gulf views, balcony access, and a private bathroom. Bedroom #2 sleeps 4 in a king bed plus 2 twin built-in bunks. Bedroom #2 also has a TV and a private bathroom. Bedroom #3 sleeps 2 in a queen bed and has a TV and a private bathroom.

Four additional bedrooms plus another laundry closet are found on the third floor. Which is only accessible by stairs. Bedrooms #4 and #5 feature Gulf views, balcony access, TVs, and private bathrooms. Bedroom #4 has a queen bed and bedroom #5 has a king bed. Bedroom #6 sleeps 4 in a king bed plus 2 twin built-in bunks. A TV and a private bathroom can be found in bedroom #6. Bedroom #7 has a king bed, a TV, and a private bathroom.

Okay plus. Location in terms of view of the ocean and the access to the ocean were excellent!Neighborhood was ok. Not very conducive to walking and getting around to restaurants etc. Cleanliness and amenities were much to be desired specially when you are paying 22,000/ for the week. Still Covid prices and attitude. No cleaning service during the week.

Annual family Labor Day beach trip.

This house is perfect for large family gatherings. Multiple ovens, dishwashers & refrigerators allowed for ease of food storage, prep & cleaning. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful Home

A friend of mine and I stayed here with 6 kids. It was the perfect property for us. They loved the pool and the elevator (like another reviewer said- kids should only ride on it with an adult as it is easy to get stuck on). The house was clean and beautiful. We would absolutely stay here again. The little soap/shampoo boxes were a nice touch. We also utilized the multiple washer and dryers on each floor.

Great house!

Perfect house for multiple families wanting to get together! Great layout!!! Very spacious. Lots of seating for meal times. Every bedroom has a bathroom. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes for large groups. The two fridge/freezers and ice maker were excellent. Conveniently located. Property mgmt communication was great prior to arrival and checked in on us after arrival.

Gorgeous property

The property is beautiful and right on the beach, the property management company was on top of maintenance requests. The home is very roomy with great accommodations for our large family. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking essentials. The only issue we had was with the elevator, I understand that it is not a commercial elevator, but it is very confusing to figure out how to operate. Do not allow your children to use it alone, as we had one of ours get stuck in it. All in all, it was a fantastic stay!

Relaxing

It was a great vacation! We were there during Spring Break but it was a quiet location, never had any problems. The house is big and spacious but still had enough space to decompress by yourself at the end of the day. We wished that the elevator went to the 3rd floor but that is just a minor inconvenience. We really enjoyed the heated pool at the end of the day to relax, watch the sunset and listen to the waves. The locals are super friendly, plenty of places to shop and explore! I would recommend this place to everyone! We are looking forward to coming back next year!
