Great location and plenty of room

Short walk to the beachPlenty of rooms, living spaces and bathroomsMany of the dishes needed to be run in the dishwasher as they were sticky and did not appear to have been washed. This was most likely due to guests before us and was not noticed by cleaning staff. A cabinet door was falling off and there was a small roof leak in the kitchen that the staff indicated was to be fixed soon.

Great location. Not so great house

The Good- this location was great and size of the house. Easy walk to the beach, small crowds on the beach, and less than 5 minutes from Tacky Jacks where you can easily go get ice daily. The Bad- this place really needs updating. The inside desperately needs updating. A cosmetic uplift is needed as well as a funcitonal uplift. Lots of rust and musty smells. The pool deck really needs new boards. This was a saftey hazard for young kids and we had multiple trips and splinters during the week. The Ugly- First problem was ants. We had ants in almost everyroom. Not just random ants but we would find them in our clothes laying on the ground and pretty much throughout the house. The next problem was our AC went out in part of the house. Not only did it go out , but the condensation line flooded the carpet. The management company did send a tech and carpet cleaner but unfortunately it was a little too late. Third, our dryer never worked. We packed our trip with the intent of being able to wash clothes, especially my grandkids, and the dryer never worked. While the washer was updated, the dryer seemed to be over 20 years old. This issue was never resolved and unfortunately we spent more time on vacation working on clean clothes than we should have. Lastly, the pools have survalliance cameras pointed at on both ends. To my knowledge this wasn't in the description and we didnt love the thought of someone watching us during pool time.
