Beyond The Hill House-Quiet with lots of Room to Roam

Quiet & Charming cottage is a 2 bedroom with queen size beds/1 bath-double shower, central air and constant heat. Extremely well maintained from top to bottom, the kitchen is fully equipped, coffee, tea. 800 Ct bedding and super thick towels for your stay. The extra-large outdoor deck is great for morning sunrises and your coffee, and a great place to view the spectacular night sky. We are 7 Minutes to Territorial Capital of Oklahoma-Guthrie, where we celebrate many different festivals. A visit downtown reveals many Victorian buildings and antique stores. Guthrie is home to The Dominion House, the world's largest active Masonic Temple and its gorgeous architecture, Outlaw Boothill, Annual International Bluegrass Festival in Cottonwood Flats. The cottage is 20 minutes to Lazy E Rodeo Arena, 30 minutes to OKC, Shopping. Bricktown, Bombing Memorial & OKC Thunder Basketball team. Both State Universities are within 1 hour. Beautiful rolling hills of Central Oklahoma abounding with deer and lots of turkey. We do not charge a deposit or a cleaning fee to our guests for our cottage. Our guest book speaks for itself, and we offer seclusion, with a wide-open feel, no city hubbub, but absolute peace and quiet for your stay. Host was fantastic So nice to be welcomed by real people LuAnn and her husband are fantastic folks. Muffins in the morning was just a plus. We had a hail storm and they told us to move our vehicle into the garage. Cant say enough goodness about this experience. We will definitely go there for next years BFA Thank you guys.

The thing that moved this from a good stay to a great one was the little extra. They don't have it on their listing, but the hostess asks what kind of muffins you would like each evening, and each morning following you'll find them in a box on the porch. It made everything just that little bit better.

We were unable to keep the reservation due to road conditions and driving a low to the ground vehicle. Lu Ann was very understanding when we called her about the situation. That alone is enough to recommend a stay at their place.

Perfect Getaway

We stayed Friday evening through Sunday morning and could not have had a better experience. We were close enough to town that we could go in if we wanted to at any time, but had everything we needed in this house, The kitchen accommodations were perfect for cooking meals. The atmosphere was so peaceful, the only things we heard were wind and cows. The hosts made wonderful muffins each morning and communicated really well regarding approaching storms. We 100% will use this facility again!

Luann and Don are two of the nicest people we have ever met. We stayed 8 days and it was so peaceful and relaxing. Her muffins are spectacular and her weekend breakfast casserole is out of this world. We had a great time and would highly recommend staying there. Also there is a handicap ramp for wheelchairs.

Perfect escape

Nice and quiet, with really good muffins

This is where my wife and I had our honeymoon when we eloped, so we returned for our 5-year anniversary. It's just as advertised - a nice quiet country house with great scenery. Lu Ann and Don are great people, and Lu Ann makes amazing muffins (we recommend Crazy Caramel and cream cheese-stuffed Strawberry). They went out of their way to make sure we felt safe as storms rolled through the area.

Weekend near Stillwater

We stayed for the weekend of the Mid South Gravel Cycling Race. Only about 40 minute drive into Stillwater. Right outside of Guthrie. Had a great trip and rested well between races Friday and Saturday. Great muffins and all of the essentials.

We had a wonderful stay in the country at Beyond The Hill House. If you are looking for a nice place to stay just outside of Guthrie, then this is it. Very comfortable two-bedroom, one bath cottage was perfect for our weekend getaway to visit with family. Highly recommend. Owners are great. Muffins in the morning are delicious!!

Country solitude

The home was cozy and clean. The property itself was located further away from the facility where my meetings were. Lu Ann was courteous and accommodating with refunding my additional days stay there so I could get a place closer to the event center.
