Japanese bath hotel in fantastic setting

Pros: The location is great in itself. And while the staff at Japanese hotels is always very helpful, the staff of the Hagi Kanko is a class in itself.
Location: Hagi is nearby and a small Japanese city with historical importance in the Meiji restauration. Fishing port below the hotel.
Great location on a hill on the coast near hagi, with a fishing port nearby. Wonderful views from rooms and from outside pool. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great food.

Pros: Polite hotel staff & hot spring
Cons: No PC & luck of entertainment.
Location: A bit far from the station & no activity nearby.
Hotel room was very clean & staff were very nice. However, they didn't have a PC、so I coudn't access to some information which I wanted to check. Hot spring was nice & overall experience was pleasant.

The hotel staff was wonderful. They were helpful and did their best with us being English Speakers. The hotel is on a hilltop outside of town, so the views are fantastic, but it is not near a station. The pond just down the road is beautiful, there are fish you can feed, and hawks that will also eat the bread if you throw it up instead of in the pond. The hotel's public bath is really relaxing and quiet. It was a great stay overall.

Pros: Position kitchen and facilities
Cons: a handout in English giving a guide to etiquette.
Location: Perched on a headland with a commanding view of 2 bays. A nearby volcano (200 metres). Local fishing town - a place to relax, unwind. Hot springs.
From being picked up at the station, through views acroos the bay, a stroll around the grounds, an escort to the nearby volcano, a tempting shop, delicious meals and a relaxing Onsen. Enjoyed every minute.
