Welcome to Aztec Escape, boasting two spacious bedrooms each with a queen bed and supplied linen and towels. Complete with a large two-person oval spa and modern kitchen, centrally located and overlooking the living area, leading to a sizable deck with a BBQ. Enjoy front and rear patios for scenic reading or the crackling log fire to stave off the evening chill (wood provided in cooler months).
The double spa is perfect for post-hike relaxation. Culinary enthusiasts will appreciate the fully equipped kitchen, and laundry facilities are available. Peaceful Grampians Getaway

Located in a quiet street with great views of the ranges, Aztec Escape is a comfortable house with comfortable bed, lovely fireplace and lots of windows to het the winter sun stream in. Contact wtih property management, check in and information was accurate and easy to navigate.

Nice 2 bed, 2 bat cotrage with a 2 km easy walk into the town of Halls Gap. So much to see and do. Make sure you visit the glass factory when they are blowing. visit the glass factory when they are

Great place to stay

Two of us stayed for a week in October 2024. The house was lovely, clean, modern and comfortable and had all we needed. Great location with fabulous views of the Pinnacles and of Boroka. Nice quiet place. We greatly enjoyed our stay.

Overall a great stay

Beautiful property! Would definitely go back there for a holiday. We were given clear instructions how things work and was provided basic necessities. Kids were very happy to see wildlife so, of course, I 'm happy. There was a lot more kitchen stuff than I imagined so it was like home.

Location was amazing, property needs some attention! Kettle is broken and unusable. Can tell it’s not looked after regularly by owners. Missing those independent touches that owners do. Overall a fair place to stay though.

Sanctuary in Halls Gap

The house was clean cosy and comfortable. We loved the wood fire heater and peaceful surrounds
lots of kangaroos and birds right at our doorstep. The one small negative is that we weren’t supplied with enough toilet paper for four persons for a three day stay. Overall however we loved the property and we had a wonderful stay!

Modern, Clean and Cosy...

Aztec Escape is the perfect stay for a break away from your busy life. The property is modern, clean and cosy. The wood fire was a huge hit, as the days turned cool. AND it is not every day you see eight emus and two kanagroos in your front yard! Highly recommended

Family walking trip to the Grampians

We had a great stay at Aztec Escape. The property is well kept very comfortable. The location is perfect, with lots of wildlife and exploring for the kids. One of our best trips to Halls Gap.

Wildlife Delight

Good location, not too far from town and restaurants. Bike path at the end of the street. House is very comfortable with everything you need for a great stay. Easy communication with hosts. Lots of wildlife just outside the windows.

Great place, rude experience when leaving

Excellent location, beautiful views, comfortable place. We had a really nice stay and enjoyed our time thoroughly. The home is as idyllic as it appears in the photos. Worth mentioning that the stereo speakers are clearly damaged and playing music results in a load of static and tearing even at low volume, definitely need replacing. Apart from that all other facilities and furniture were excellent. Unfortunately we had a rude and unnecessary experience when leaving the accommodation. We were a bit late getting out on the last morning. All packed up, tidied the place and out the door by 1030am. A man who I can only assume is the owner made a big deal about it and after I had apologised decided to have a further go at us. When I responded that this is the first time we had ever been hurried out he got more frustrated and kept arguing his point, to which I also responded with some strong words. We were late getting out and that's our responsibility, though his behaviour was over the top and just plain grumpy. It was an unfortunate end and we will not be staying there again. Luckily we went for a great bushwalk that day and left the Grampians with a better feeling.

Great Grampians Getaway

We stayed 3 nights and the location just fabulous to explore the Grampians. The house is clean, tidy and matched the photos. We enjoyed the preset fire on a chilly morning. The local restaurants are good from Indian food at Spirit of Punjab to the brewery and don’t miss the ice cream! Proximity to all the lookouts is easy to navigate to. I only wish we had a few more days there!

Fabulous Grampians getaway!

What a great stay! The house was exactly as pictured however felt larger in space when we arrived. Very close (walking distance) to the general store and all restaurants, most of the main walks/treks, zoo and local wineries in close proximity. Greater every morning by at least ten cockatoo friends and rosellas (kids loved this!!) and also some visits by the kangaroos. Overall I highly rate our stay. We had some small issues with water leakage (range hood after a sudden downpour) and dishwasher, however notified the owner and it was being attended to. It didn’t impact our stay however which was thoroughly enjoyed by our whole family. The bedding was good (particularly comfy in room two). Very clean shower and bathrooms and gorgeous spa (although we didn’t use it given hot summer trip) - would be perfect in winter months. We shall return! â˜ș Thx Wendy for our lovely stay.

Lovely home that we really enjoyed!

A very well maintained property that looks bigger than what the pics show. The 2 bedrooms are also good, and the beds were so comfy. 2 aircons in the hall work well too and they have ceiling fans plus 2 portable ones. There is only 1 shower and the double spa is lovely but note there is no door so privacy could be an issue for some Overall we just loved our stay and can’t wait to return again. Thank you!
