Super clean and everything in immaculate condition. Friendly welcome. Left my husband lying in bed with toast and coffee while i walked 5 minutes up to my hospital appointment. Love this place.

The owner of the hotel absolutely goes out of his way to look after his guests - many of whom are hospital patients (pre or post surgery) and he doesn't hesitate to offer them a lift to the hospital if needed. It is a true kindness.

Very tidy new property in a convenient location. I was taking a last-minute trip to Waitomo with my young child and decided on Argent for an overnight stay -- and I'm glad we did! We had everything we needed during our visit: comfortable beds, spacious bathrooms with nice toiletries, a kitchenette ... even milk in the fridge for morning coffee! Graeme was incredibly helpful getting us settled into our rooms (despite us being the final guests to check in for the day), and answered all my questions. I absolutely plan on staying here during my next visit to Hamilton.

What an amazing find. So clean, well equipped and the staff were very friendly. Our room was nearest to the roadside and was very quiet on the first night. Second night (midweek) the road was much busier and there was an extremely loud helicopter overhead at around 5am, presumably heading to the nearby hospital. This wouldn't stop me booking again though.
