Dismayed and disappointed

Upon arrival, the promise of a boutique hotel fell away quite quickly to be replaced with the feel of a slightly upscale student escape. The room was small and the bed was very comfortable. However the room temperature could only be controlled through opening the window. The bathroom, a first for me - over three levels - was barely functional. The shower had numerous controls many of which had no bearing on water pressure nor temperature. The shower was also located centrally to the bath which meant the screen scattered the water to all corners of the bathroom… and possibly beyond. A visit to the sink for a wash or a shave provided no respite. It began with a requirement to try and move the bath screen out of the way - difficult, whilst avoiding collisions with the hairdryer and some sort of dispenser on the other wall. One literally had to be on their toes. I’ve saved the most nauseating part of our stay to the end. The cleaner banged on the door and announced we would be charged for another night if we hadn’t checked out in five minutes. Boutique my a*#e

It's a dump but staff are very friendly.

The front desk employees are VERY nice and kind. We paid about $500 a night to stay here due to my husband going to the Agritechnica Convention. This place is a dump. Old, needs remodeling. Just awful. I felt dirty the entire time we were here. They run up the price in Hannover on all the hotels due to this convention. The laws of supply and demand. Would not stay here again.

Recommended

The hotel is really nice and the decoration inside is very beautiful. The service is also really good. I only have two negative comments, the first one is you cannot enter after midnight, and you need a special key for a side door, and the second you have to tell them to clean the room, they don't do it themselves, which I find extremely wierd.

The Hotel personnel was available for a very limited times in the hotel. The shower gel was empty and there was no one there to ask. The guest is completely on his own (it should not be considered a hotel honestly). The room was not very clean, and again, there was no one in reception to assist. Overall, bad experience, never again

Obviously not a dream hotel, but works for a night or two. Rooms are very sterile and beds arent good. Seems clean though and location is central, but you have a mini “red light” just around the corner.

Am Ende OK, besser Komunizieren auf beiden Seiten

Bett war prima, Dusche lief schlecht das Wasser ab (teils Baufehler teils Rohre nicht frei) Empfang hatte leider zu viel Stress und erkannte meine Zahlung zum Frühstücken nicht an. Erst beim Auschecken war eine kompetente Mitarbeiterin da und hat mir gesagt, dass ich doch Frühstück mit gebucht hatte. Frühstück war gut und vielfältig, sogar Rührei gab es. Ich werde jedoch wieder kommen, da ich es nicht von der ersten Mitarbeiterin abhängig machen möchte. Ach ja, ich sollte dann auch sagen oder aufhängen, dass gesäubert werden soll, da die defekte Dusche „Auslief“.
