We loved our stay and plan to rent this house again in the future. The views were spectacular! We enjoyed playing catch phrase with family at night. Loved the beautiful sunsets and walking along the beach. Pearsons restaurant in Harbor Springs has fantastic food. Can’t wait to come back.

Spectacular location, views, and general atmosphere!Lots to do and see in the area, but also just as good to hang and enjoy the beach and water.We had a few minor concerns early on, but Elizabeth was always quick to respond, and all went smoothly.I would recommend this site, and come back again in the future.

Grocery stores are 45 minutes away. If you have a large vehicle parking is challenging Owner is not available so if you have any issues you have to get in contact with VRBO who are also hard to contact

What a beautiful view of Lake Michigan. Breath taking to look out at the sandy beach. That you can walk along and the water was very shallow and private. Great place for family and friend's getaway.

The location is great with sweeping views of the lake, a beautiful walking beach in both directions and easy access to hiking trails. The house is very attractively furnished and extremely comfortable, with a great layout that maximizes the truly spectacular views and beautiful sunsets over the water. All in all, a delightful place to stay. A few concerns: The kitchen which, while well-appointed otherwise, had only minimal cookware of aluminum and scratched teflon. Not ideal if you plan on doing alot of cooking. The house was clean overall but cleaners missed a few areas such as grimy oven and oven pan, and outdoor grill and food remnants on the back porch. Night-time lighting was a little scanty in the main living-room area. Despite these minor draw-backs, the house is beautiful and we enjoyed our stay. We were late in checking out and expected a small sur-charge, but were, in fact, charged a wildly exorbitant amount for the time. That was an unpleasant surprise.

Beautiful Home

The house is terrific, property is beautiful, views are magnificent. Just wanted to leave some honest feedback regarding our experience with this property. The property was booked and paid in full on 12/31/23 for a stay in August, 2024. We then received a message on 5/20/24 (5 months later) stating renovations had been done on the home, that there was now an extra room, and that there would be an additional payment of another 40% on top of the initially listed and paid in full price. Also of note, the message stated that if we did not agree to the new terms, that we, the customer, should cancel the reservation. In my research and discussions with hosts whom I know personally, this is not a typical request, and may in fact go against guidelines. In the spirit of not ruining the much anticipated vacation, we paid the new balance and proceeded with the trip. The home is lovely. The area and property are beautiful, but the experience left us feeling a little vulnerable and was a reminder of the lack of protections for customer/renters on the platform. So, while we had a lovely weekend, we were somewhat dissatisfied with the transaction as whole.

Great Lake House stay

Wonderful stay along Lake Michigan. Views from the house were great. Quiet street with relaxing “get away from it all” vibe. Just about 25 min dive to charming beach town of harbor springs. Great stay!

Beach House and Sand Dune Getaway

This is an amazing hidden gem. Beautiful location right on Lake Michigan. House is perfect and Elizabeth the host was the best I had ever booked with. This is near the “tip of the mitt” so quick access to forts, Mackinaw Island and the bridge. Overall wonderful experience.
