Sunset Lodge – Your Home Away from Home

Tucked away in a quiet street of Hardwicke Bay is this sensational beachside cabin. Enter the side gate and you’ll be just a short walk to the shores. The space comes fully furnished and so well equipped, all you really need are your clothes!

Have a boat? Bring it along! There’s plenty of secure parking on site. With the beach so close, water activities like fishing, squiding, kayaking, snorkelling and swimming are just right on your doorstep. Explore the rockpools upon sunrise and watch the tides come in at sunset while you sip on a wine or two with uninterrupted views.

Enjoy dinners cooked over the barbeque with the complimentary hot plate available on deck or head to one of the many local eateries like Caffé Primo in nearby Minlaton or the Tavern on Turton in the popular town of Point Turton, both approximately 15 minutes drive away.

Featuring 3 spacious bedrooms consisting of: –

· a queen bed with ocean views in room 1

· a queen bed with baby cot in room 2

· and 2 sets of single bunks ideal for children & teens in room 3

All rooms have the added comfort of ceiling fans, while room 3 has also been thoughtfully equipped with books, toys and lamp lights fitted above the upper bunks for your kids to snuggle up with reading for some down time.

Each room comes with quilts and covers, as well as pillows. You only need to bring your own sheets and pillow cases.
The house also has a washing machine and dishwasher for your convenience. And besides towels, everything else is covered!

No matter what time of the year you visit the reverse split system A/C unit in the main lounge will keep you cool and cosy on those hot summer days and cold wintery nights. Sit back and relax with a movie on the DVD player with lots of family friendly options to choose from or pop on some tunes using the mini stereo. This wasnt our first time staying at this beautiful beachfront property in Hardwicke Bay, and it definitely won't be our last. Every time we return, it feels like coming back to a slice of paradise. The home is set right on the beach, and waking up to the sound of the ocean never gets old. The house is cosy, clean, warm and welcoming with everything we needed. We especially love how peaceful the area is. Hardwicke Bay is a quiet, close-knit coastal town which makes it the perfect place to unwind.We are so happy to have found this gem and look forward to coming back again and again. We would highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful beachside retreat with the beach right at your front door.

Fantastic log cabin with beautiful sensets

Lovely location with a house that was stocked in the kitchen for cooking. Home was comfortable. The only complaint we had was with matresses on the bunk beds and the queen bed at the front of the house. Beside that we really enjoyed our stay and will come back agai. Thank you

Peaceful and open

Beautiful accommodation right on the beach

We all had a lovely time staying at Sunset Lodge. Communication with Heidi was always friendly and helpful. The house is spacious, very well appointed and well looked after, is lovely and clean and the pantry is very well stocked with lots of essentials. Beautiful gardens and the neighbours are friendly and helpful! The views are stunning, and with direct access to the beach we cannot wait to stay at Sunset Lodge again in the future!

Lovely getaway

This was a lovely little spot and very quiet at this time of year. We had the beach to ourselves! Kids loved relaxing in the hammocks and watching the sunset, exploring the rock pools etc. The property was very clean and homey with everything you could possibly need for your stay! Loved it

Great cozy beach front holiday house. Very clean & well looked after. Kitchen well stocked with every thing you need, modern appliances including dishwasher, large fridge, separate freezer in the laundry & washing machine. Fenced large rear yard so enough room for 2 cars & a boat! Lovely front deck with great sea views.

The property is very quaint. It was very quiet and peaceful with full views over the water. The owner has it stocked well with a lot of pantry items and all you possibly need in the kitchen. There was even birthday candles.! It was clean and comfortable.

We really enjoyed our stay in the log cabin. We loved the sunsets with drinks out on the deck. Very comfy and well appointed. Pet friendly - our 2 dogs loved it with short walk to the beach.
