"Plenty parking, working heater, evening staff completely unfriendly, morning staff greeted us nicely and was friendly, place overall feels very rundown, room is dingy and reeks of cleaning chemicals. Had HBO which was fun. My main thought the whole time was that they needed to tear down the place and build something new. And then I wasn’t sure I had made the right choice and getting the place for the night, and that I should’ve just put up a tent outside for a fresh clean feeling."

"This sweet vintage motel has updated, comfy rooms with everything we needed. The breakfast was great with lots of variety. The hot tub was perfect for soothing stiff muscles after driving all day. The staff was kind and accommodating. "

"Surf Hotel has grown into an amazing property over the years. Our beds were filled with comfy bedding and plenty of pillows. There was a great wrap around porch with rocking chairs. Amazing views of the river and the mountains. The staff was so friendly! We ate at the restaurant a few times, everything was incredible, especially the s’mores cake. The pool was nice and private. The water felt great. There were a few fireplaces for guest to enjoy. And the coffee offered in the morning lobby was delicious. This place is an excellent get away! Great walking paths, and plenty of other outdoor activities to do. I can’t wait to go back! "
