We have just ended a glorious seven-day stay at the Mandarin House. From beginning to end, Monica was accommodating and flexible. We had to change our reservation, not once, but twice, and she was so patient with us!The house is divided into three separate buildings. The main house has a living room, dining room, kitchen (SO well-stocked - there is even a full drawer of spices and seasonings), laundry room, half bath, and a large master suite. Huge windows allow you a constant view of the beautiful turquoise water. The second building houses another king bedroom, a âbunk roomâ, a bath, another kitchen with hibachi-style grill, and a pool bath with shower. The third space is a cute studio with bedroom and bath. The buildings are all connected by decks, many of them covered. All of this allowed plenty of spaces for our family of 8 to congregate, as well as plenty of space to spread out for a little quiet time. The pool is lovely and is maintained throughout the week by a pool crew (we saw them at least twice. There is a huge abundance of pool floats, as well as life jackets, beach towels, and snorkeling gear. We enjoyed the dock, the kayaks and paddle boards almost daily.On the other side of things, we did have a couple of issues with water, but they were taken care of quickly and with little interruptions in our activities. We all agreed that the mattresses were the hardest EVER! Some areas could use a few updates, but all-in-all, this house was perfect for our crew!
