Relax in Habana Centro

Comfortable, clean and character filled old Spanish style bedrooms. Spacious, green and airy communal areas in which to rest from the heat outside /read etc. Delicious breakfasts and dinners at extremly reasonable prices. Very competent and caring staff on hand at all times to meet our needs. Central location. Very highly recommended.

bad management but tasty food

My daughter and I stayed in the second (not main) house. It is inconvenient that there is not a single employee in our house that we can contact and we had to go to the main house. The Wi-Fi did not reach our room. In addition, the hotel managers charged for Wi-Fi, although they do not provide it. I do not understand how you can charge money for something you do not control. But there was really great food in the dining room.

It is an interesting place to stay, with grand old architecture. The dinner and breakfast we ordered offered a broad choice of foods which were both tasty and novel to our palates. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Unfortunately there was no convenient place to hang out a little hand washed laundry. Outside the peaceful interior, Saturday night on the local street was by contrast, quite lively!

I really wish I could write that everything's excellent at this property. The people working there are nice and helpful and so is the owner. However, the first night, the key to my room didn't work, there was a problem with the lock (the room is in a different building than the reception and there is no way to contact themremotelyif you don'thave a Cuban sim card.. The second day, the shower didn't work, there was no water and from the third day onwards, there was only boiling hot water.Two out of the three rooms we rented had a strong smell of mildew and on the forth day, after I returned to my room, I found the bathroom door dangling from the hinges. They fixed it after I let them know. The tablecloths in the restaurant are never washed and are full of crusty stains. I understand that there is shortage of soap and cleaning products and that Havana is generally in a bad shape but this is a private business and this seems to be more a question of neglect than anything else. The food at the restaurant was good. I hope they decide to wash the tablecloths at some point. However, keep in mind that crusty tablecloths are not just an issue concerning this place, but a general problem in Cuba. Other places where I stayed were far cleaner and in good workin order.

This was a perfectly acceptable room and was a good value. The property is in an excellent location and the staff is very helpful. Teddy took his time when I first arrived to give me the information I needed for a good stay in Havana.

部屋や設備は良いです。昼間はいつでも、清掃スタッフが共用エリアなどを掃除しており清潔感あります。 夜間に予約していたタクシーが来なく、飛行場への移動手段が絶たれたので困りはて夜間のスタッフに助けを求めました。しかし、その男性スタッフは若干英語が通じるものの、ロッキングチェアに座ったまま「さぁね、タクシーは今の時間から呼ぶのは難しいんじゃないかな。タクシー運転手の知り合いはいない。」と返答し、タクシーの手配や移動について一緒に考えてくれないかと依頼したら気のない返事だけあり、全く協力をしてくれませんでした。大通りまで走って行き、なんとかルートバスを捕まえ交渉してエアポートまで送ってもらえるようになりました。あの男性スタッフの態度により最悪の記憶となりましたが、施設自体は良いです。 ちなみに、宿でUSDやEUROの両替もおこなっており、レートは普通でした。

Awesome Stay
