The ground floor was perfect with kiddos- they could head straight to the pool or beach and back to our room without walking through the building or taking elevators with sandy feet and suits. It felt pretty private as well. The interior space was typical and adequate. Multiple pools and hot tubs, awesome beach and sunset whale watching right from the shore!

just steps away from the resort’s pools and beach. The unit is even walking distance to nearby food trucks and restaurants. We’ve stayed in a different unit at this resort before and this one was much better! We plan to stay here next time we visit Maui!

This resort condo in Honua Kai is PHENOMENAL! It has EVERYTHING you need for a small family or group stay. Local food truck pavilion and Times Market are a 5min walk away. The Kaanapali beach walk, and ocean front with beach access is literally out and a minute walk from the lanai. There’s a washer, dryer, and other modern kitchen amenities in unit too. A cooler pack, beach chairs and umbrella are also provided. It was literally perfect, not to mention world class water features for the kids. It was great having everything right outside the unit. The grounds and property are immaculate too. The parking and elevator access to the unit is literally down the hall from the unit. The bed was amazingly comfortable too!

The pool was larger than I thought & while many of the chairs were taken early there were still pool chairs available all day. Beach was beautiful & a very short walk from the boardwalk. The room was spacious & well equipped. Poke tacos at Dukes were the bomb!

My husband and I and our two boys just had the most amazing trip. The unit was perfect for us. Great location, quiet and easy access to the pools and BBQs. The check-in process was really easy too. Absolutely amazing!

We’ve stayed in various condos in Honua Kai and this is our favorite! The location couldn’t be better - right near the pools and ocean; amazing snorkeling right in front of the resort! We always see honu here (make sure you respect their space & adore from a distance).The owner was quick to reply to all questions and the condo was spotless with everything you could need and more. We didn’t use them because we came over-equipped, but they had boogie boards, beach chairs, backpack cooler, umbrella and a waterproof volleyball too!I had to do a couple of Zoom meetings for work and had no trouble with the WiFi. Staff are so warm and welcoming as well. I can’t say enough good things about our experience - we all had the greatest time and can’t wait to return! Rooms and grounds were immaculate, proximity to beach was excellent, and the kids really enjoyed the variety of pools. The snorkeling right by the grounds was great- variety of fish and lots of sea turtles (enjoyed more than the Molokini tour).

Honua Kai Stay

This place was amazing and exactly as advertised. The floor level unit with the patio and grass were definitely a plus. There was no noise from any neighbors and my kids (ages 12 and 15) loved having the grass to play/hang out on. Everything was easy, from check in to getting towels, to parking, we were easily able to navigate everything. When I contacted our host with questions, she immediately responded and was very helpful. We already knew we loved Honua Kai but this was the first time we booked the Kona tower (we booked through the hotel on our two previous stays). We will definitely book through VRBO again. This process was much easier and we were able to choose our unit. This unit also had some really great extras including a nice cooler backpack, Tommy Bahama beach chairs and beach umbrella, and two boogie boards. We would love to return on our next trip to Maui.

This unit is in a great location on the ground floor. Quiet and away from the hustle and bustle of the resort. You even have a partial ocean view from the lanai. The unit was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Mahalo

Amazing Stay

The most wonderful and relaxing stay in beautiful Maui in the most perfect condo. We found everything to be exactly as advertised and in a perfect location on the ground floor just steps to the pools and beach. The kitchen was fully equipped and the underground parking was hugely convenient. The unit had everything we needed complete with beach chairs and boogie boards. We will absolutely be back! Ground Floor!!

We had an amazing stay in this condo. Resort like amenities with affordable pricing. It was perfect for our family. You can’t beat the ground floor access. We enjoyed sitting on the patio while the kids played in the grass, short walks to view the sunset, easy access to the beach and pools. The host was very helpful and friendly! We will be back!

Disappointed

The carpets were filthy. The view on the patio was of construction equipment and a dirt path used for the equipment. The bath mat had not be washed but simply folded up dirt and placed on the tub. We had one garbage bag, no extras for a 9 day stay. Not even close to how it was advertised. Not worth half the money charged. Very disappointed.
