We were very happy with the condo! Nicely updated, and very open! Beautiful view and short walk to the beach! Only cons would be the shower water pressure was a little light and towels looked a little dingy. But thats being picky! We highly recommend.

Great spot for families

We always stay at Kaanapali Royal when we visit Maui (family tradition). We love how easy the pool/grill area is to get to from the condos, as well as the ease of early morning walks down to the beach or sunset walks to whaler village. The condos always have lots of beach/pool stuff and pool towels so it makes traveling “light” a little easier. Kitchen was great and well-stocked with cooking essentials and we really enjoyed the sunset view from the upstairs master bedroom. Our 5yr old thought the big bed in her room was the best! Super nice to have a balcony, grill and outdoor lounge furniture, especially since we got a few days of rain while we were there - we could even do some whale watching with our binoculars from there. Great location within the condo complex and nice upgrades

Awesome place just needs TLC

Location was THE BEST. Pool access and jacuzzi just a skip away. Quiet friendly place, very family oriented. Minor maintenance details need attention, but never detracted from the overall experience of the place. On the whole, we loved it!

Great place in a perfect location!

Perfect spot in Kaanapali with easy access to the best beaches, golf, and a great pool and grill area. Condo was clean and roomy, and we did a lot of cooking and hanging out on the lanai. Can’t wait to come back!

Kudos to the owner of this wonderfully appointed and well-furnished Kaanapali condominium. And, if we needed assistance, management was a quick phone call away with a speedy, friendly, and constructive response.

Great Location for beach vacation

This condo is located within walking distance to the beach and resorts. The interior main floor appears to be updated and is a great space. The balcony is nice with a gorgeous view of the golf course and the view from the upstairs bedroom is beautiful. The kitchen is new and well-equipped, but the kitchen faucet wouldn’t turn off completely unless you fiddled with the handle a bit. New carpet and paint is needed upstairs, but that is a minor cosmetic update. The comforter on the bed upstairs was soiled and stained. There were bugs in the upstairs bathroom that looked like bed bugs. I notified property management of this and their response: They put a duvet on the soiled comforter and said they would have someone spray a week after we were scheduled to leave. We had asked and confirmed prior to our arrival that the king bed in the downstairs room be separated into 2 singles. When we arrived the beds were not separated and they told us they would not separate the beds until after the first night stay. There is a $20/night parking fee that must be paid at the office in-person during business hours, so be sure to plan for that. We ended up having to cancel a morning in our itinerary in order to fulfill this requirement.

This property was nice. We couldn't get the wine cooler to work and there was no laundry soap but the place was quiet and very comfortable. Balcony was great with the provided grill. Would stay here again!

Unit needs updating

We spent 10 days in July in the unit. We were pleased with the Kaanapali Royal complex because it was smaller and very quiet compared to other resorts. The unit itself has several issues. The unit could use some new paint and carpet. It is looking beat up and tired. The main problem with the condo was the lack of blinds in the downstairs living room. The temperature was in the low 90s while we were there.The unit faces due west and in the afternoon it bakes in the direct sun. It was impossible to keep the entire unit cool. The upstairs bedroom never cooled off. The unit is full of fans because they know how hot it gets. Forget sitting on the couch and watching TV at that time. I wouldn't stay here if they don't do something about the subpar AC and blinds.

A great condo

My family & I stayed for 2 weeks over Christmas 2016/17. The condo was large & spacious great for our family. The view was great with a large lanai. Most of the renovations were completed but still need a coat of paint in bedrooms & upstairs as well as baseboards. Cleaning service was only fresh sheets & towels no actual cleaning was done. We did have issues with the AC but maintenance came right away & fixed it. The condo association did take care of our needs. We would stay again & recommend staying here.
