Quiet Townhouse - Cozy Gas Fireplace - Near Lake Chatuge

This is a quiet end unit (#4) in a four townhouse building. You'll have this entire townhouse to yourself and will only share it with other guests in your party.

This is a beautifully furnished and well equipped property in Hayesville, NC, just up the street from the banks of Lake Chatuge.

Unit # 4 has two bedrooms downstairs with a full bath. One bedroom has a queen bed and the other bedroom has two twin beds. Upstairs has a sleeper sofa for up to 2 additional guests and half-bath. The upstairs covered deck has a table and chairs with a gas grill for more cookout fun while enjoying a great view of Lake Chatuge.

Enjoy this place year-round with the beautiful hardwood floors and cozy gas fireplace upstairs. Enjoy the nice view of Lake Chatuge with all the leaves gone during Fall and Winter months.

This is a great place to travel to and enjoy everything that the area has to offer. Golfing, fishing, boating, biking, hiking, rafting, shopping, and great restaurants are just a few things to do in the nearby surrounding areas.

Unit #4 has high-speed internet and robust wifi via Google Wifi mesh network blanketing the unit so you have excellent and complete wifi coverage throughout the rental, whether upstairs or downstairs.

Televisions are provided in the upstairs living room (42") and in the downstairs master bedroom (32"). ROKU EXPRESS + devices are provided on both TV's and are left in Roku's "Guest Mode" so you can watch all of the free content Roku has to offer (Enjoy hundreds of free movies and TV shows, plus live news, sports and more) AND you can sign-in to your personal paid subscription services, such as Netflix, Hulu, Showtime, etc. All of your personal log-ins will erase automatically on the checkout date you choose. Detailed instructions are left by the Roku device/remote as well as in the villa information booklet.



If you are looking for a place to picnic, swim, ride your mountain bike on a trail or just walk along a peaceful outdoor trail, nearby Jackrabbit Mountain Recreation Area offers all of these things. They are generally open 5/1 through 9/30 and they are located just a short five miles away. There are several other nearby parks that also offer access to playground/park activities and Lake Chatuge. Renting this property does not provide you with direct access to Lake Chatuge.

Would you like to have a scenic view of Lake Chatuge from above? Just outside of nearby Hiawassee, Bell Mountain offers 360 degree panoramic views of the lake and surrounding mountains, all from an elevation of 3424 feet (see video)! However, please take note.......the drive to the top is on a steep, narrow and winding road, not for the faint of heart. Once you get there, the breathtaking view is well worth the drive.

Master bedroom and top living room opens to patios. Upstairs sofa rolls out to make a queen bed. Kitchen offers coffee maker, refrigerator, stovetop, microwave, hand; mixer and separate dining area. Living area has 42" TV and cozy gas fireplace. Downstairs bathroom provides shower/tub combination, toilet, sink, cabinet and hair dryer. Upstairs 1/2 bathroom includes toilet, cabinet and sink.


Cigarette/cigar/other smoking/vaping/tobacco use of any type is NOT ALLOWED on this property. No smoking permitted in the villa and no smoking permitted on the upper deck or lower porch. Evidence of smoking/vaping/any use of tobacco on the property will result in a minimum fee of $250, depending on additional cleaning/sanitizing required. Please do not rent this property if you or your guests need to use tobacco.

Perfect place to stay

Lovely townhome to stay in. Very clean and cozy. I loved the lake house feel and that the lake was just a short walk away. It was a quiet neighborhood and easy access. I only have great things to say about this place , so very thankful to have had the opportunity to stay here.

Cozy Weekend

My husband and I traveled to Lake Chatuge for his 30th birthday. We had a blast staying in the townhouse. We loved sitting out on the balcony watching the deer while drinking our coffee. The fireplace was super cozy. We found the cabin clean and cozy. The hosts were extremely nice. We had a great time and plan to come back some time in the future. 10/10 would reccomend.

We stayed for 2 nights during Thanksgiving, and had a great time. We were very impressed with how immaculate the entire house was, and especially loved the electric fireplace. It was a great stay and more than comfortable. The owner was very prompt at responding and so nice to communicate with. We would come again for sure!

Birdsong Villas

Very nice, extremely clean unit with great view of Lake Chatuge. The surrounding area was quiet and peaceful. Great balcony to sit back and have a cup of coffee in the morning overlooking the lake. The unit itself was very nicely furnished and the kitchen had everythiing you could possibly want to prepare meals. Loved all of the lake themed touches. Would definitely stay here again.

Off the Beaten Path Done Right

Seriously, we have stayed all over the place in rentals. I was so excited to stay here! This rental is fully equipped. We were tired the first night and decided to cook and stay in. There wasn't anything we needed that wasn't provided. The living room was very comfy and cozy. Both bedrooms were comfy as well. Ken was a wonderful and responsive host. I highly recommend all around.

Very clean property, with exceptional communication from the owner Ken. Well stocked kitchen. Grill on deck is a huge plus! Dock is a little difficult to navigate around with a pontoon but is definitely doable.

Cute place! Clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Owner communication was clear. One note, which was made very clear by the owner, is that access to the nearby dock and lake were restricted to “boater use only”, which was kind of strange given the close proximity of the townhome dock and the fact that no one was actively using it. It felt a little “big brother like” when the primary reason to stay by the lake is to enjoy the amenities of the lake, without having to get in your car to drive to the public access areas.

Great location with plenty of amenities

Needed to take care of some business and found the location perfectly centralized for all our needs. Near downtown and easy to get to Murphy, all with a great view for my morning coffee. The lake was a beautiful backdrop for my early morning walk. The property was well equipped with kitchen needs, plenty of towels for our party of 4, a grill and many other things. We’ll be staying again next time we need to come to town

Cozy and Clean!!

This was the perfect place for our stay! It was immaculate, charming, and just the right size for our family of four. The kitchen, bathrooms, and laundry closet were all well stocked and we were provided with all that was promised and all that we needed. White Christmas

We arrived on Christmas day as it began to snow and temperatures dropped to record lows. The gas fireplace was perfect to enjoy the White Christmas! The villa is in a lovely spot with a gently sloped lawn, perfect for sledding. The lake and mountain views are outstanding. Easy drive to Hiawassee and Helen. The villa was very clean and well appointed. The property owner was easy to communicate with and was very prompt responding to our questions.
