Cozy Mountain View Chalet

DESCRIPTION: Our cozy two-bedroom chalet is nestled in Hayesville and 15 minutes from Blairsville and Hiawassee, GA. Enjoy, a winter retreat with beautiful views of the mountains, but close to restaurants, shops, and hiking trails. Outdoor recreational fun on Lake Chatuge and the Hiawassee River are moments away, but close to restaurants, shops, and hiking trails. Enjoy the winter mountain scape through the window while enjoying the warmth of a gas-log fireplace.
THE SPACE:
The 2-bedroom (2 beds), 2 bathroom chalet is easy to access. The staircase to the loft bedroom is carpeted for safety. Balcony & front porch have standard-height wood picket railings with outdoor furniture. The kitchen has stainless appliances and a propane gas stove. The living area has a propane gas log fireplace with a push-button on/off and an auto shut-off wall-mounted remote.

GUEST ACCESS:
Guests have complete use of the main floor, loft, main floor balcony, and front porch with a private entrance. 2 vehicle limit. The driveway is large, but turning around can be difficult with more than two vehicles. No boats, trailers, campers, or off-road sports vehicles. No portable firepits, grills/barbeques, or fireworks are permitted on the property. Primrose Lane is a Private community.
The neighborhood properties are private. Entering or walking on or around the neighbor's property is considered trespassing.

OTHER DETAILS TO NOTE:
The homeowner requires disclosure of firearms before booking.
The private entrance, basement apartment, and the lower porch are the occupancies of the homeowner, who will be available on-site if needed. The homeowner lives in the apartment, and guests are not permitted to use these areas.

Very nice experience. The amenities were great, the house is beautiful, and it was very clean. Clear instructions and the little touch that I enjoyed was each switch was labeled. The view from the porch was perfect any time of the day, rain or shine.

This was the perfect 2B/2B cabin. Lovely kitchen, comfortable bedding, well appointed living room and dining area and wonderful back porch with beautiful mountain views. Robert, the owner, was very informative and helpful with our check-in. We arrived after dark and he graciously left on the outside lights along with a few inside lights as well. That shows great attention to detail. My only regret is that our stay was only for 2 days!

The house was very clean and well-maintained, with all the essentials provided. The real highlight was the view. Stunning mountain scenery. Just sitting on the deck was so relaxing. Hayesville NC chalet

Communication with the owner was great. House was so pretty, nicely decorated and clean. Bed upstairs and den furniture wasn't very comfortable but we made the best of it. I believe I had read this same complaint in a previous review but was under the impression the furniture issue had been rectified. With that being said, the property is definitely a place I would recommend but would also inform people of this issue. We are in our 70’s and comfort is important. The downstairs queen bed was fine according to our friend who traveled with us.

Clean, cozy & correctly advertised

This was a perfect cabin for a long weekend getaway. I book our vacation spots basis customer reviews and cleanliness ratings. If I could give this place 6 stars, I would. The cabin was just as advertised and extremely well cleaned and maintained. You can tell the owner cares deeply and it does not feel like your typical rental. You feel like you are coming “home” every time you walk in the door. The location is perfect as you have mountain views without taking 10 minutes to get to town. There is a nice grocery store just down the road, which was very convenient. If we are back in the area, I would definitely rent this one again!
