Quiet cottage with extraordinary view
Publié le 17 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayWhat a wonderful cottage with an outstanding lake view! All kinds of wildlife - geese, loons, mallards, herons, turtles, and beaver. A young bald eagle visited the property several times. The cottage was very clean and comfortable. WiFi test indicated 20MB download - no problems streaming on our Roku.

Cozy and private get away
Publié le 25 avr. 2024 sur HomeAwayMy boyfriend and I stayed at this cabin for our anniversary trip. The cabin was in a beautiful location right on the lake with only 1 visible neighbor. Neighborhood was quiet. Cabin very clean and had everything you need in a cabin. Beds very comfy! Only about 10 mins outside of town for easy access. Cozy, relaxing, romantic. So romantic that my boyfriend decided to propose to me on this trip 😀 This spot will forever hold a special place in our hearts. Highly recommend!

Great- even in the shoulder season

The ice was just starting to melt and both geese and swans graced us with their presence. The fireplace was wonderful. We actually didn't eat out at all and found cooking there to be fine. One thing I didn't see in the description or reviews is that the porch is independently heated, so you can use it year round. (forgive me if I'm wrong about that). The porch is beautiful! It's about 10-15" out of Hayward, so just a short trip to town. Thank you!
