Each package includes Access to the trout pond and blue creek area, catch and keep 10 trout max, no catch and release, and bring your own fishing equipment. Private cabin on the lake was great! When the sun hits the lake it beams into the cabin creating so much natural light. Hot tub was really nice for relaxing, especially after a hike. Cozy living room with a gas fireplace and everything was super clean. Can’t forget the deer we saw around the cabin. Great communication with host too. We hope to visit again.

Nice secluded cabin on lake!

We had a great time at this cute, secluded cabin on the lake. Fishing, hot tub, fire pit and even a nearby trout pond the kids fished at and had a fish fry for dinner. It was so nice to be able to take the dogs with us too! Overall a wonderful stay and we hope to come back!

Romantic cozy cabin on the lake

Probably one of my favorite places I stayed in Georgia. The commute to local stores and restaurants was within 15 minutes. The weather was absolutely gorgeous between 30 to 50°. We took full advantage of the fire pit and Jacuzzi wish we would’ve stayed longer even though we stayed six days. It was amazing. Helen was so cute especially during this holiday season I’m obsessed with George’s burgers highly recommend so many things to do with the kids or even with just your spouse/friends

Beautiful home and property with an awesome view

We came to celebrate our wedding anniversaries and visit the local wineries and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The house is very nice, beds were comfortable (upstairs bed is a little creaky/noisy), the hot tub was great, the sauna was nice but didn't seem to get hot enough for me, the big back porch with plenty of seating is very nice, kitchen area was a tad small and the garbage can is in an awkward spot but overall everything was great! We brought our own toilet paper based on previous experiences with other rentals but the tp provided gets a minus 1 rating LOL.

Weekend getaway

We enjoyed our weekend at Picardy Rose. The cabin is well stocked and maintained. It’s in a lovely location and very close to Helen with many activities available to do. We would definitely recommend staying at this location and will likely stay again in the future.

What a great property! Definitely would rent again. Hot tub, ping pong, pool table, and jetted bath. 3 stories ( casement unfinished but so nice and cool!!) we were there in July and the basement was such a retreat. Nice and cool, big couch, big fluffy chair and the game tables. And no worries the dogs were so good. Property was big and no carpet. PERFECT!!!

The scenery was beautiful. But had to buy towels. Only 1 bath towel and 2 wash rags were left no kitchen towels. Also saw a few roaches. One was in the bed. Not very clean.

Super peaceful setting, property needed a few TLC items resolved which they were very friendly to assist quickly. Shower faucet wouldn't turn to hot, refrig needed servicing, a plug-in oil lamp made the whole unit smell like birthday cake - gave us a headache and made our clothes smell for several days, floors were dusted but furniture and bedding was dusty and made our eyes itch...Otherwise we hope to return

Clean; comfortable, well stocked with essentials. Hot tub and jacuzzi tub added to ambiance if looking for a place with no traffic,’comfortable amenities, quiet time to unwind, read a book, work puzzles, or just do “nothing” - can't go wrong.

LOTS of Rules

I travel often and rent through VRBO for the majority of my trips. While this cabin was perfect for our girls trip, the check-in process was extremely detailed and extensive. I wanted to include this in my review because if I would have known prior to booking, I would not have chosen this cabin. One specific thing that stood out to me and made me uncomfortable was that they require photocopies of your license to be sent via email or text. I have never once been asked to do this by any other rental. The contract for this cabin was also very extensive to the point I as an adult was nervous to even stay at the cabin - I would never bring a family or children here given their rules.

Cozy cabin with lake view

We enjoyed the privacy of not having other cabins on top of us. It was very quiet and peaceful. The gas fireplace was a nice touch and hubby and son enjoyed playing pool and ping pong.
