Bring your own instant coffee because theirs is dirty water. Otherwise, everything was great. Decent breakfast choices. Front desk peeps all very helpful with ideas of things to do, places to eat. Limited dining in this area but easy drivable access to downtown, freeway. Close to airport. 2nd night there was a truck right outside my window that ran their engine all night. Nothing the hotel could do about that.

TV wa broken. When reported they said they couldn’t fix right then offered another room if we wanted to move. Breakfast was not great. Had to wait for food to be put out as it was empty. Worker was not around one day the other was just cleaning in the back.

Unfortunately they did not have a shuttle as advertised which was disappointing. Neither of the outlets in the bathroom worked. The staff was very friendly and helpful with suggestions on restaurants etc. Overall it was a good experience.

The only redeeming part of this hotel was the front desk person. He was very nice. Old facility. Dated. The side front glass doors locks were missing, they are glass doors and wouldn’t open and close all the way-so the security is gone-and it just looks trashy. It is located right next to a noisy casino/gas station where truckers were coming and going. Also it’s on a very busy highway-so lots of traffic noise-but convenient b/c it’s right next to I-15. The elevator was small and old and took forever-(there’s only 3 floors). Made weird dangerous creaky sounds. I had my 2 yorkies with me and was assigned a pet room. The room I stayed in smelled so horrible! Like poop and urine and vomit and mixed into one covered with air freshener. The breakfast was just as disappointing. Watery oatmeal, no yogurt or fresh fruit. Just a couple muffins. This hotel needs a complete overhaul or torn down. Shameful to charge so much for such a place.

Questionable place to stay.

The room was a little to be desired for the cost. The bathroom sink would not drain. We pulled out the stopper and you would not believe what was there! DISGUSTING!! GROSS!! Had not been cleaned in a very long time! The bathroom door squeaked really bad. The shower door would not stay closed. So had to place a washcloth in it to keep it shut. The chairs in the room were badly stained. Placed a towel on the seat before i sat down. Not the best place but not the worst.

It looks very new. Room and bathroom are nice and clean. We would like to suggest to add hooks to hang used towels. otherwise it was an awesome comfortable stay in the hotel Staff were very helpful to solve our issues. The breakfast was excellent. Ambiance superb, server was great and on top of things.

The bed was very comfortable. The Internet worked very well the front desk guy was extremely nice very quick and easy to check in the breakfast. This morning was really good. I do recommend that you need to have more gluten-free options.

Helena Hampton Inn

We were put on the 3rd floor, room closest to the highway because we had dogs. The road noise was horrendous. I asked to be moved the second night, but because of the dogs, the new room would have been in the same general area. Really disappointed that if you travel with your dog, you’re going to be given a crappy room for the same price as rooms in a better location. The microwave wasn’t cleaned and had spilled coffee in it.
