Hellnar Ocean View Villa
Set in Hellnar in the West Iceland region, Hellnar Ocean View Villa has a terrace. This villa has 5 bedrooms, a flat-screen TV, and a kitchen. The property is surrounded by nature and ideally located for those who want to explore the SnĂŠfellsnes peninsula.
This was the perfect home to explore the Snaefellsnes Peninsula. The views are amazing, we will never forget the sunrises. Close to the trail head to Anastrapi, beach front cafe (amazing waffles) as well as the national park. Perfect way to end our week in Iceland!
Beautiful spot overlooking the ocean. House accomdated our group of 7 including 3 young kids very well. Unlimited sights and activities within range of the house. Highly recommend.
The photos of the exterior really do not do this place justice. It is really nice inside, with modern fixtures, two good sized bathrooms -excellent- blackout shades on the bedroom windows, comfortable beds, and an absolutely spectacular view of the coast, with colonies of sea birds circling the cliffs.
This house was extremely spacious! The views from the house of the coastline are amazing, and we saw seals at the beach nearby. The beds were comfortable, and every bedroom had blackout shades. We loved the hot tub. The kitchen was well-stocked. We would definitely stay here again!
This was an amazing base for my group of 6 friends to explore the Snaefelles peninsula. The house was clean, comfortable and roomy. The views were jaw-dropping. We are all planning on when we would return to this wonderful home. The only downside is how far away groceries are.
We enjoyed our stay at this spacious villa with all the amenities, including a large kitchen with stunning vistas. Note that the location is quite remote... the owner suggested that we stop for groceries in Borgarnes, which was great advice. But it was a lovely spot to explore the SnĂŠfellsnes peninsula and national park. We were fortunate enough to spot Orcas swimming by from the living room windows. The descriptions and amenities are accurate in the listing. Thanks for a great stay!
Clean, spacious, and beautiful ocean view right from the kitchen window. The property managing company was very responsive and the hot tub was ready when we arrived. We were lucky to see bright northern light when soaking in the hot tub. Would highly recommend!
Pictures do not do this home justice! The location is amazing! The home is very comfortable, beds and pillows are dreamy. Hot tub over looking the oceanâŠ. Cute little cafe a few minutes walk away. You couldnât ask for anything more. We would absolutely come back here on a visit to Snaefellsness! â€ïžâ€ïžâ€ïž
The Snaefellsnes Peninsula is a microcosm of the beauty of Iceland with a remote, outstanding, crowd free experience. This home enables that experience in comfort and proximity that is perfect!
What an experience! Although we missed the final days of the tourist season by a few weeks, the quiet was what we were after. The home was cozy, spacious, and a perfect resting place after cold hikes along the coastline and up waterfalls.
Thank you!
We had the best time staying here. The hot tub was a wonderful surprise and we were able to sit in it and watch a spectacular northern lights display. The views from nearly every window were breathtakingly gorgeous, and the location offered easy access to the trail from Hellnar to Arnarstapi and the amazing rock formations visible from the kitchen window.
Check in and out were easy. The only thing I can think of that could have improved our experience is if there was an easy way to turn off the exterior lights to make viewing the aurora easier.
Iâve stayed In the area many times, normally at Hotel Budir, and likely would stay in this house again for future visits.
