What a dump!

Staff were nice. Service beyond slow. Room terrible. Smelled like someone took a massive dump for my entire stay, except it wasn't me and it was permanent. Mattress so broken and crap I folded it against the wall and slept on the floor. Absolute crap. Holiday Isn't is a more appropriate hotel name. What a dump!

The workers all go out of their ways to assist the hotel's guests; in the restaurant, attendants check in guests, support during the stay, cleaning rooms, halls, stairs. The respect the employees gave at all times was outstanding. Extra help was offered time snd again. Thank you.

Great breakfast, friendly staff, large shopping center within a short walk, complementary airport shuttle service. Only minus is the in room cooling system not working properly, not easy to sleep after a transatlantic flight when room temp is at ~+25 while the outside temp is ~23 (staff was not able to rectify).

I got trapped in the shower due to a malfunctioning shower door. A handyman had to pry the shower door open. He had to remove a strip of plastic that had, amazingly, sealed shut the shower door. When the handyman was removing the plastic seal, he made some comments to the effect that this was not the first time that he had needed to pry open a shower door at this hotel! I suspect that the plastic strip was NOT part of the design of the shower, but was added by the hotel to prevent any water from leaking out of the shower onto the bathroom floor. Even worse than being trapped in a small shower stall (which is a nightmare), was what happened next! The person at the front desk came up to our room and personally witnessed the handyman struggling to pry the door open. After that, she offered exactly nothing, no discount, no nothing, When I requested a discount, she immediately offered 50%. But she said that she could not provide it directly, since I had booked through Expedia, as opposed to booking directly with Holiday Inn. But she said that she would put a note in the computer requesting a 50% discount, and that Expedia would see the note. She further advised me to then call Expedia and request the discount from Expedia. But when I called Expedia, a couple of days later, Expedia said that Hoilday Inn had told them that there was no note in the computer, and that they opposed providing any discount at all, since they had a strict policy against ever issuing any refund!

A Decent Place To Stay Near The Airport

The room was pretty small, but it is a nice hotel for what it is - a place to stay near the airport. Breakfast was not included in the price but could be purchased for 15 Euros, and it was well worth the price, with plenty of selections for every taste. There was a good selection of coffee and tea in the room, and the free airport shuttle which runs every 20-30 minutes was very good.

Melting in room

Love the Hotel, have been twice before. This time very uncomfortable experience. Room was miserably warm and did not improve even after changing the room. Was told that air conditioning was recently fixed. Tried to adjust thermostat, set it down to 20C, no luck. Outside temperature was plus 11C, room temperature did not get below 24C, and highest was 25.1C. No sleep.
