I been staying here in between houses while my place is ready And on the night of the 9th I went to get in the shower at midnight and turned the handle to turn on the water and to my surprise the handle popped off and hit me in the mouth and started instantly soaking me in high powered scalding hot water. Within seconds my room was flooded. My husband who has chronic heart failure and my 2 dogs were terrified. Sally the front desk did what she could and tried to contact someone because the water shut off valve to the room 119 was missing. Everything I own is water logged,I was hoping to be able to dry my stuff in the dryer on site but I was just given a new room and nothing ever mentioned about it again. I like the staff and they are nice and all but now I find my self with a broken tooth that hurts and not even a follow up with how am I feeling the following morning. All my belongings are mildewing and lost important medical documents that causing a problem trying to get my husbands meds refilled. I wasn’t aware the impact of the situation until was at work the following morning the throbbing tooth and sore body and wet clothes. Other than that it’s been pleasant.

Room was decent with all amenities need 👍, BUT dog next door was barking most of the night, pooped outside the room and not cleaned up, shady people hanging outside the rooms didn’t look like they belonged there, seemed there was permanent residents there that where not to clean.

PROS it’s quiet and no one really bothers us. I feel like my dogs are safe while I’m at work at that is the most important factor to consider to me. Cable has my investigation discovery channel.. larger than average mini fridge is awesome CONS I was rather less than thrilled to see the rooms don’t have hair dryers, hot plate like burners, or on site laundry as advertised on the motel 6 studio 6 web page. Their is no ice machine but I guess that’s ok because if the machine worked they charge you 25 cents for ice…The vending machine is only a run down coke machine with 4 or 5 choices. The on site laundry was the main reason I considered this place. The water in the room I am in for some reason for a shower to run hot water you have to turn the bathroom sink on while in the shower. I have also seen 2 cockroaches in the week I been here.
