Authentic 1850âs Settlers cabin High Speed Internet
The cabin was relocated here back in 1999 from Virginia where it was originally built. It is a true early settlers cabin. Combined space loft and main floor is 600sqt/ft. Each log is well over 150 years old. It has a kitchen with 4 eye cook top, convection oven/microwave, refrigerator with ice maker, living room, bathroom with a jacuzzi tub and shower combined. A loft bedroom accessed by a spiral staircase. This staircase is narrrow and dogs will have to be helped or carried up. Space would not allow a larger staircase. The loft is equipped with a queen size and a full size bed and rough pine furniture. The laundry room is located left on the back porch area it has both a washer and dryer. There is a front porch with two rocking chairs and a back porch with an outdoor grill. Both porches have winter time views of the mountains. The setting is trees and mountains all around with views up and down the .5 mile driveway. To sit in the cabin recliner and breath in what it must have been like for early settlers is a truly unique feel. A motion light with camera has been added to the entry to provide lighting and safety when entering and exiting and it will record when motion activated. WIFI High speed, Pots and pans, silverware plates, bowls, coffee cups, a wine opener, and can opener are also provided. A Keurig coffee maker and k cups are provided . Loved how cozy the cabin was. We used the kitchen a little bit and spent a little time in downtown Hendersonville. No issues came up during our stay and everything went very smoothly. We would stay again!
If fairy tales booked Airbnbs, theyâd stay here.
Staying in this beautiful 1850âs cabin felt like stepping back in timeâin the best way possible. Every detail carried the charm and craftsmanship of a different era, yet the space was perfectly updated for comfort. Thereâs a stillness here you just canât find in modern lifeâcoffee tastes richer on that old porch, and the stars shine a little brighter without the noise of the world. And the host? Absolutely amazingâthoughtful, welcoming, and full of local tips that made the stay even more special. Itâs the kind of place that grounds you, slows you down, and makes you feel like youâre exactly where youâre meant to be.
The owner of this property, Jeff, was very nice! He was very easy to get in touch with and wanted to do everything to make our stay as nice as possible. The cabin was the perfect size, and included everything we needed. The location was amazing. We would definitely stay here again!
