This lovely executive home is an excellent private getaway. Located just outside the historic city of Hendersonville, NC. This great home offers plenty of space for your family or group of friends. Breathe in the fresh mountain air from the spacious and quiet back porch and enjoy 50+ mile views. Continue the mountain experience with the relaxing leather couches in the downstairs living area.

House Notes:

* NO bedroom on the first floor. All bedrooms are upstairs.
* The stairs upstairs have about 13 steps.
* No smoking, vaping, or candles.
* Must be at least 25 years old to reserve this property.
* Family-friendly

* No 4WD is needed
* Be aware that the only steep road is the main road going into the subdivision, and

Fantastic property - highly recommend

This was an ideal property for our two families of 4 adults and 6 kids from age 1 - 7. There are built in baby gates, a playroom, a basketball hoop, and multiple eating spaces. They also provided a pack and play and highchair. Beautiful home, great for our group!

The best house I ever been too

Whatever I asked I received whatever I needed I got whenever I had a question it was answered no matter the time or day! The house was clean and the house big I love the house so much I clean it up just how they gave it to me and the way they ask before I left so it’s not much to do for the cleaners !! Improving This Property

We did have a good time while in Hendersonville staying at this house, HOWEVER, there are things that would keep us from returning to this property. Those things are: 1. NONE of the toilets work correctly...CONSTANT problem; 2. Lady bugs inside the house were out-of-control; 3. Great room recliners (all) shed vinyl and are in TERRIBLE condition. Those little pieces of vinyl were everywhere including all over us after we sat in them. They were the only places to sit! 4. Shower handles appear to be broken because they just spin around. Maintenance man said they weren't, but they did not operate normally. Our daily plans were delayed because no one could get a shower. 5. One morning two men drove down the side, very private driveway and entered the basement of the house. My husband called immediately and the property manager told my husband that they had emailed us about this, but they definitely did not. My son went outside and confronted one of the men because he thought he would have to defend us in some way. VERY SCARY. 6. The TV in one of the bedrooms was not usable because a special sign in code was needed that we didn't have. 7. The internet cut out the first morning we were there. It required management calling to get the service restored. 8. No storage available for food we brought in...no pantry or empty cabinets. 9. The only can opener available was broken. 10. No blinds on the large master bathroom window which overlooks the parking area. REALLY? The beds were extremely comfortable. The views from the house were wonderful as advertised. The fireplace was great.

Perfect for us

The house was perfect for our stay. Beautiful sunsets over the mountains every night! Plenty of space, well stocked kitchen, several TV’s clean and fenced in space for our dogs. Location was great for what we wanted to do! Definitely recommend!!

Things about the property that need attention

The stairway to the second floor has a landing and a turn and then an additional three steps. Three in our party fell and thankfully were not seriously hurt. Also the bathroom toliet in the hall bath would not fill properly and water had to be added to flush it. The supplies available were over and above the average rental. Thank you. We had an enjoyable time even though it rained a lot.

This property was exactly what they listed. The property manager was quick to respond when the tv in one of the bedrooms weren't working. They even stated they will come over to fix it if we couldn't get it to work. Super nice people. My family and I made beautiful memories here!

Great snowy weekend

We booked this vacation when we saw Hendersonville was expecting snow so our southern kids could get a taste of winter. There was space (including a fenced backyard so the kids did not slide down the side of the hill) to play outside and we were able to sled down the side driveway. The hosts had everything we needed for our party available (high chair, pack & play, sleds, etc) and the house suited our group well with plenty of bedrooms and a large loft upstairs with games and a pool table (myself, husband, grandma, grandpa, & kids ages 10, 8, 6, 3, and 4 months).

Beautiful Mountain View

Everything was exactly as shown in the pictures on the listing. The view from the back deck was fabulous. Lots of room to bring many guests along. We just took a short sprint to get away for the weekend and oh how wonderful it was at the bear mountain lodge. Also wonderful that they allow well behaved dogs with no weight limit. Very appreciative of that. Also had plenty of games for everyone to play. We especially loved the air hockey. It was a hit. Did I mention we loved it? We will definitely consider staying here again.
