Very well located within a short walk of Hereford Cathedral. Hotel has a lot of character and is also comfortable.

Two night stay in February
Publié le 24 févr. 2024 sur HotelsBooked in January, rang to enquire about parking and if hotel had lift as we are slightly disabled. Receptionist said there is a lift and we were in room 238, 2nd floor near the lift, front of hotel. On arrival we were given room 120, first floor, back of hotel, which was as far from the lift as was possible. We queried this but were told we were definitely in room 120. Very disappointing. Room was adequate but not sure how it qualified as a Superior room. Hardly room to walk round the bed, shower over bath unsuitable for many people as bath is high and nowhere to hold on to.

Decent hotel in Hereford.
Publié le 12 févr. 2024 sur HotelsA decent hotel for a short stay. The room was a like a sauna when I got to it and was amazed to find a small electric heater plugged in and switched on. This made the room so hot and stuffy that I had to open a window - far from environmentally friendly!
Otherwise - the bathroom was a bit tired but the rest of the room was ok.
Breakfast was decent and staff accommodated my requests for something not on the usual menu.
