Bonne adresse au coeur d'une ville bibliophile
Publié le 28 juill. 2010 sur HotelsThe Swan at Hay Hotel est une bonne adresse pour qui veut séjourner à Hay-on-Wye et découvrir les librairies de livres anciens ou la réserve d'oiseaux de Holy Island. Bonne cuisine dans un cadre chaleureux et agréable, avec un service détendu et efficace. Un bémol : certaines chambres donnent directement sur une cour intérieure, et il ne faut pas se trouver en face du néon de sécurité qui nous a éclairés toutes les nuits... (en l'absence de rideau sur la porte, il a fallu mettre une serviette de toilette).

I love the spacious room. If you have heavy luggage, do note that you have to lug it up a flight of stairs.

Due to us being a Georgian listed building we sadly are not permitted to install a lift so most bedrooms are accessed by our staircase. Nice greeting when we arrived,our room was alright comfortable but slightly shabby.Clean though.we had a cream tea in the afternoon which really wasn’t very good at all,the scone turned to dust after I cut into it,making it almost impossible to spread anything on it.
We had a good nights sleep the bed was comfortable
The breakfast was disappointing,couldn’t finish my sausage
Throughout our stay there was a strange smell in the building.
