We stayed at parkhotel multiple times. The good: breakfast option deserves all the stars for variety, quality of both food and service. The beer garden that’s adjacent to the hotel is excellent as well. The not so good: the overall state of the hotel seems to have deteriorated over the last couple of years: worn carpets, bathroom fixtures that are missing nonfunctional covers, in-room safe that’s no longer working . Same with the quality of service. It’s little things like shampoo bottle not being refilled, or wet towels not replaced, a pair of flip-flops forgotten by someone who stayed in the room before us and never taken away. None of it is enough to stay elsewhere, but all of it reflects poorly on the experience.

Room was very comfortable a little disappointing that there was no fridge or kettle in the junior sweets. Food was nice in the restaurant but the menu was limited. Good location and some nice areas for walking.

Solides Hotel im Herner Stadtpark. Der Großteil der Zimmer ist neu gebaut, die Zimmer sind ordentlich, haben zum Teil aber sehr kleine Bäder.
