The first room i was in was upstairs. Even though there were only a few people staying. When i tried to tske a shower, the pipes groaned, and the water stopped flowing from the shower head. I had to use my ice bucket to clean up. They gave me another room, downstairs. I was the only one staying there for 2 nights. The shower in the 2nd room did work, however i learned that the bathroom sink had a leak. Id left a pair of jeans on the floor under the sink. They were so wet from the leak, i had to hang them above the bathroom wall heater to dry

Lost money due to restricted front desk hours

We booked the hotel months in advance since it was close to the concert venue we were at. I contacted them to let them know that we would be checking in late at night due to the concert attendance. I was informed that the front desk closes at 10pm and they lock the front door and they couldn’t make accommodations for me to get my key. In addition, I spoke to the manager and asked that they cancel my reservation at no charge due to the check in restrictions. I was told they would not make an exception. HORRIBLE customer service. There was nothing in the reservation that noted the front desk hours. I lost money on this reservation and had to pay for a room somewhere else. This situation makes me not want to book through hotels.com anymore.

More like a motel rather than a hotel. It was a place to stay close to Chocolate Ave for a couple of nights. Very dated inside - looked promising from the outside. Bathroom needs a good cleaning and updating. Horrible water pressure through the shower head. A/C unit in the wall is from the 1970's! It works, but it's loud and has got to be eating electricity 24/7. Room was a tad humid and musty. For the price we paid, it was not worth it. We'd spend a little bit more and stay at Day's Inn. This place was a one and done.

Several outlets in the room were not functioning. The outlet next to the sink was not a GFI outlet, the microwave was outdated, and the room door lacked a proper seal, allowing visible gaps to the outside. Additionally, the shower did not produce warm water because the mixing valve was incorrectly installed. When I reported these concerns to the front desk, my concerns were dismissed with laughter, which I found unprofessional and disappointing.

Over the course of the few nights booked, I became sicker from the mildewy/moldy conditions. Due to the height of summer & weekend, there no options to find similar accommodations elsewhere. Thankfully, we spent most days out doing the various things in the area, but returned to the conditions each night.
