Welcome to The Texas Sunshine Oasis, our Waco city escape! Geared towards families and friends with space to work, relax and rejuvenate inside and out. In a quiet neighborhood, but close to all things downtown. Big woodsy backyad with modern "Farmhouse-ish" interior.

Inside enjoy our piano, sunroom and garage game room.
Outdoors enjoy our pool, hot tub, large yard and playhouse.

Filled with trees and greenery, our yard is maintained weekly, but keeps a natural look. Our focus is fun, not fanciness. :) Leaves and sticks blow in with the wind, sometimes landing on furniture or paths, and grass may be a few inches tall between mowings, depending on weather or timing.

Spacious, Comfortable, and Close to Everything!

Our family had a wonderful stay at this home! It was the perfect place for us to spread out and also come together when we wanted. The large table in the sunroom quickly became the heart of our stay — we gathered there for family meals and countless rounds of board and card games.The location was ideal: right off I-35 and only about 7 miles from all the downtown attractions we planned to visit, which made exploring Waco so convenient. The swimming pool was very large and turned into our favorite spot to relax each afternoon and evening after sightseeing.Overall, it was a comfortable, welcoming space that truly felt like a home away from home. Highly recommend!

Family Gathering in Waco!

We recently visited Waco to spend time with family who live there. The house is very roomy, with plenty of space to spread out and the location to shops, restaurants and interstate access is wonderful. We enjoyed all getting to eat together at the large table in the sunroom. The outdoor space is really great. We enjoyed using the pool several times. Communication with the homeowners was always quick and easy! We would definitely stay there again.

Spring Visit to Baylor

We had a great stay as we were in town for business at Baylor and the bonus of seeing my daughter who attends Baylor. Home is a nice set up for several visitors and we loved the privacy of having our pool. Great easy location to Baylor and everything else that you would need. Communication with the owners is prompt. We had a wonderful time in Waco!

Great for families

We had a wonderful stay at the Texas Sunshine Oasis house. It was the perfect place to stay for our family group. The kids loved the rec area in the garage and outdoor space. We had an issue with the toilet (our fault) and they were very quick to replace it for us. Close to Baylor, Waco, and everywhere we needed to be for graduation weekend.

We really enjoyed our stay. The host communicated frequently and kept us updated on the pool situation. The kids really enjoyed the play house, game room, and bunk beds. We loved being able to eat all together and enjoyed hanging out in the living room. We were very pleased and would book here again.

This place offer more than the pictures. We had so much space for everyone and also sooo many amenities. We did not get to play any of the board games or make a fire in the back but it was nice to have it available. The host also made it easy for checking in and out and had great communication.

A wonderful getaway in Waco

I had a seamless stay at the beautiful property managed by Taylor. From check-in to checkout, Taylor was very responsive and made sure everything went smoothly. The backyard was huge and we enjoyed spending time there. The pool was fantastic and the hot tub was hot. Even though the Baylor football game didn't end the way we wanted it to, we had a great weekend. The checkout process was the simplest I've ever experienced at a rental home. The owners went out of their way to offer me a late checkout due to my friends and family falling ill with COVID, which was a kind gesture that warmed my heart. I definitely plan on returning to this welcoming home with its beautiful backyard and pool in Waco.

Peaceful Stay

Accuracy of online description was perfect. Neighborhood was nice and quiet. Pool was so enjoyable in this 100+ weather. The only thing I think people should know is to bring mosquito spray! We had to purchase foggers for the outside because as soon as the sun went down it was dinner time for the mosquitos.

Very close to Waco, fun place to stay

Some of our football team stayed here and we LOvED it. Plenty of beds, pans to cook, pool was perfect, fire pit game room in garage, nice TV. It was fantastic. We’ll be back!

Fun family trip

We really enjoyed our time! The house was good but not quite as nice or clean as the pictures led us to believe. Don’t get me wrong- it wasn’t terribly dirty or anything, but it wasn’t as clean as most other places we’ve stayed, despite this being one of if not the most expensive. The managers send an email ahead of time saying that the house is not brand new or perfect, so they are aware. There were a few things not working quite right, including grill (igniter wouldn’t work), day bed (slats broken), bunk beds (ladder rungs are loose). The kids enjoyed the playhouse, although being in Waco it is worth noting that it is not air conditioned. The pool was pretty green the whole time we were there and the water level in the hot tub was low, but the guy who maintains the pool came our last day and affirmed that he does come at least weekly and that the pool is typically not that color. (We were told ahead of time that he would be coming on our last day there). We loved the space, many beds to spread out, the pool and hot tub, the ping pong table, outdoor space, and enclosed patio for meal times. (Note: that long table is amazing, but we are all small people and it was still pretty squished, so beware of that before planning a big thanksgiving party or something). I sent an email to the manager regarding some of the things I mentioned here after we left but I haven’t heard back.

There was something on the property for every age group. We enjoyed the pool, played in the garage game room, sat by the fire pit, and grilled a meal. The sleeping arrangements were comfortable.
