Waterfront home on gorgeous Lake Chatuge!

Our 4-bedroom, 3-bath home offers plenty of space for gatherings of family and friends. With two bedrooms on the main level and two additional bedrooms in the spacious walk-out basement, the house sleeps up to 8 people. Fresh, modern decor, new furnishings (including Tuft & Needle mattresses), and a fully stocked kitchen are just a few of the amenities you will enjoy. The master bedroom overlooks the lake and features a king-sized bed, luxurious bedding, a flat-screen television, and a private bathroom with walk-in shower and a freestanding tub. Bedrooms 2 & 3 feature queen-sized beds and shared bathrooms, while lakeside bedroom 4 is home to two twin-sized beds. All bedrooms are designed with maximum comfort in mind and feature 400-thread-count sheets, down comforters and linen or organic duvets.

The vaulted main living area centers around a wood-burning fireplace and is a perfect spot to get cozy with a book, cup of tea or loved one. Dawn and dusk are best enjoyed from the covered back deck, which overlooks the lake and is home to a gas grill for outdoor feasts. An open kitchen with huge island offers additional seating for dining and is an inviting space in which to cook, gather and relax. The spacious dining room is perfect for family style suppers and breakfasts and offers plenty of space to spread out and work - if you must - while you are here. The basement family room is where the indoor entertainment reigns... A large screen TV, ping pong table and spacious sectional sofa beckon leisure time after a day on the lake or exploring North Georgia; pull out a board game, borrow a book -- or sign in & enjoy your Netflix account - for a cozy evening in. Cable TV and WiFi are available throughout the home. Wake up to coffee on the back deck, and spend your days swimming, boating, kayaking, or fishing on the lake. Bring your marshmallows and enjoy cool evenings by the outdoor fire pit overlooking the lake!

Our home is located within minutes of Hiawassee, so groceries and gas are always close by. The small established neighborhood is quiet, and most of our neighbors are part-time residents, so if you are looking for peace and quiet, you have found it. Have a boat? Tie up to our private boat dock! No boat? Enjoy one of our kayaks or the Bellyak or just throw a line in the water from the swim deck. Boat rentals are available nearby for the day and half-day - we encourage you to rent one and explore all the nooks and crannies of beautiful Lake Chatuge.

Miscellaneous details: Parking is provided for two to three cars. The home is fully heated and air-conditioned, and linens and towels are provided. About us: We are a family of four and are full-time residents of Asheville, NC. We fell in love with Lake Chatuge over the course of several years of camping and vacation rental stays. We took the leap to create a property of our own in 2017 with the dream of building something beautiful, functional, and comfortable for us to enjoy with our daughters, extended family, and friends now and for years to come. We are delighted to share it with you.

Hiawassee & N. Georgia:
This area of Georgia is known for its mountains and lakes. Opportunities to hike, fish, swim, and mountain bike are abundant. The Appalachian Trail passes through Hiawassee, a quaint town featuring charming local shops and restaurants. We love this area for its scenic natural beauty, slower pace of life, and multitude of outdoor opportunities. It's truly a wonderful place to get away from it all!
