Private deep water dock w/covered slip, large outdoor deck w/gas grill, firepit, shuffleboard, covered outdoor ping pong, kayak, water play pads and life jackets! Relax with stunning lake views from the rocking chairs or hammock on the huge screened porch or cozied up by the living room fireplace flanked by picture windows. 10 min to downtown Hiawassee!

Adventure awaits! North GA and Western NC abound with opportunities for recreation and relaxation. Set your sights on long-range views with visits to Bell Mountain in Hiawassee (20-minute drive) and Brasstown Bald (highest point in GA, 45-minute drive). Spend the day on Lake Chatuge with a boat or personal watercraft rental from a local marina (contact us for a recommendation) or bring your own (please note, no trailers can enter the neighborhood). On the GA side, take a 30-minute drive to a waterfall hike via the High Shoals Falls Trail or make the 35-minute drive to Alpine Helen, GA for a taste of Bavaria in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Want to immerse yourself in nature in the Nantahala National Forest? Bring your mountain bikes and ride the first-class trails at Jackrabbit Mountain (also great for hiking and dog-friendly) just a 20-minute drive from the property. Hungry and thirsty after a day of exploration? Visit the outstanding local restaurants, wineries, and breweries in and around downtown Hayesville and Hiawassee for not-to-be-missed tastes of local flavor.

The kitchen was so well stocked with plenty of pots, pans, dishes and glassware. The dining room table top was extremely sticky and soap suds didn’t remove it. Perfect size for 4 couples! Lots of games to play on our one rainy day - especially corn hole under the porch.

The house is laid out very well. It is spacious and comfortable. The options for the covered/screened porch vs. the open deck is nice. The house smelled very clean and the showers are hot! Great for a family lake getaway!

This house was perfect for our family group of six, ages 19-80. We loved all the opportunities to be outside—the dock, the huge screened porch, the deck, the fire pit area and more. The house was spotless and the kitchen well stocked, although the dishwasher badly needs replacement. The neighborhood was attractive and a grocery store was within a reasonable distance.

This house was absolutely stunning! Everything was spotless—the kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms—you could tell it was really well cared for. Wonderful Home on the Lake

This really is a lovely home on the lake. Great views of the lake from the house. Large and comfortable living room, tons of games. Huge covered and screened porch, large outdoor deck with grill, and nice dock to swim off of. Basement garage has kayak, water pad, floats, life jackets and more. Boundary Waters Marina is very close by for boat rental. Couldn't ask for more!

WE were truly amazed with the property. Very nice house. Perfect for family with children. Obvious new firepit which was great as well. The house is well equipped (WiFi is strong, kitchen, TVs everywhere). One of the wives is a chef , she spoke highly of the kitchen euipment. Nice bathrooms with one exception. ...... apparently some plumber made a dynamic mistake with placement of a toilet downstairs or it was a joke on the owners..... an adult can not use it. Other than that, it was perfect. The boat dock came in great use with my Zodiac, view of the lake at night is super. Hope to return soon.

Relaxing time on the lake!

We loved our time at this home!! The view of the lake was amazing. The home was very spacious and clean! The house was stocked with everything we needed. We all spent a lot of time sitting on the screened porch and also down by the lake on the swing. The bonus was the covered dock. We brought our boat and we're able to walk down the short path and get on the boat and went for several rides. We even went on a night ride and were able to come back to a well-lit dock and path back to the house! We hope to come back next summer! All four of us couples gave this an A+ rating!

Great week at this property. Everything about this place was awesome except for the neighbors dog who barked at us incessantly while we we on the deck. That was only a minor issue though. The scenery was breathtaking. We will definitely book this property again.

Relaxing Family Getaway

This is hands down one of the most comfortable, best places we have ever stayed at the lake. We have rented from several places in Nottely, and Chatuge and this home was so comfortable, the views were breathtaking walking in (pictures on posting don't do this place justice!). It was a rainy weekend when we stayed, which allowed us to enjoy the home much more and dock for fishing. We had 2 small kids with us, and they enjoyed the table tennis, game room, shuffleboard and dock. The heated bathrooms in the cooler weather were a nice plus, and gas fireplace! I highly recommend this rental, we hope to be back, what a beautiful lake home!

Wonderful Lake House!
