It took 20 minutes after arrival to get to our room because the front desk clerk was not there and had to walk people to their room individually because their key card system was not working. This delay caused the hot meal we brought to be ruined. We also discovered mold and dirt around the shower door. We had to leave soon but returned at 9 PM with another hot meal, however, the key cards no longer worked. We had to make 6 trips down to the front desk before clerk called maintenance man at home to let us in (bad door lock battery --"we had the same problem with same room lock a few days ago," were told). In meantime, our 2nd hot meal of the day went cold and ruined. Our belongings and my desperately needed diabetes medication were locked in the room, out of reach for 1+ hours. We were given replacement room after making 7th trip downstairs, however, I was busy trying to find a hospital to go to for my medication, so we didn't immediately see how dirty the new room was. New room had dark, greasy stains on chair arms/seat, lots of mold/dirt in shower & floor corners. Also had multiple guest hairs on shower/bathroom walls. A brown substance was smeared on hair dryer bag, and dried white liquid substance was on sofa. Management has been given a week to respond appropriately, but thus far has failed to address our losses, aggravation, negligence, health and safety risks we, inadequate staffing, and breach of warranty.
