The house Eulennest is an idyllic detached holiday home right by the forest in the immediate vicinity of the climatic health resort of Hilders. Surrounded by unspoilt trees at an altitude of 600m, the house in an absolutely quiet location offers ideal conditions for a relaxing and relaxing stay in the Rhön Biosphere Reserve.

The house offers u. a. 75 sqm living space, living room with sofa bed and tiled stove (firewood available!), 2x toilet and shower, washing machine, satellite TV, CD / DVD player, game console, modern infrared radiators, fully equipped kitchen, grill, further features see 'Equipment'.

You are welcome to bring a dog (other dogs on request).

Nature lovers get their money's worth all year round due to the breathtaking landscape and diverse flora and fauna. Countless hiking and cycling trails offer all possibilities. There are also numerous downhill and cross-country ski runs available in winter.

The popular excursion destinations Wasserkuppe and Milseburg can be reached by car in about 20 minutes.
At 950m, the Wasserkuppe is the highest mountain in Hesse and offers a wide range of leisure activities for the whole family (skiing, gliding and paragliding, summer toboggan run, climbing forest, etc.).
The Milseburg with its breathtaking view is surrounded by impressive hiking trails and can even be reached by bike via the popular Milseburgradweg (entry directly in Hilders). You can also experience an adventurous and free bike ride through the Milseburg tunnel.

The baroque and cathedral city of Fulda is 30km away and is always worth a trip.

Ruhig, aber nicht einsam
Schön eingerichtetes und gut ausgestattetes Ferienhaus, unkomplizierte, nette Abwicklung; alles da, was man braucht, gute Beschreibungen für alle Einrichtungsgegenstände, ruhig gelegen, aber doch ein paar Häuser mit Menschen in der Nähe. Die Hanglage machte (auch wegen einer Baustelle auf der Zufahrtstrasse) die direkte An- und Abfahrt etwas mühsam. Im Sommer kein Problem, im Winter würde ich das weniger gerne machen… die Umgebung ein Traum, Wandermöglichkeiten direkt vor der Tür, oder mit dem Auto schnell zu erreichen. Hier wäre auch ein längerer Aufenthalt ganz sicher nicht langweilig geworden.

Das Ferienhaus lässt kaum Wünsche übrig. Knut der Kamin gibt volle Power. Alle Gegenstände für einen schönen Urlaub da. Die Schlafzimmer wurden in Rezensionen als Muffig beschrieben. Joar, etwas kühl. Aber die Besitzer sind sehr ehrlich und beschreiben gut die Situation bzgl. Wasser und Feuchtigkeit. Ne warme Decke mitnehmen und alles ist gut. Von Hilders aus erreicht man alles schnell. Die "Schweinebucht" gibt es auch noch, zuletzt als Kind vor 18 Jahren dort gegessen und immer noch super lecker. Geniesst euren Aufenthalt. Es war sehr schön im Eulennest. Kaskadenwanderung, Checkpoint Alpha und viele weitere Ziele sind absolut lohnenswert und in heutigen Zeiten auch aufklärend gut. Bis bald Rhön

Wie immer wunderschön , die ersten drei Tage mit Schnee , danach Gott sei Dank mit meist trockenem Wanderwetter, die Rhön ist einfach schön . Auch zu empfehlen ist die Therme in Bad Kissingen wenn es dann doch mal mehr regnet . Das einzige Manko ist , das die Straßen im Feriengebiet nicht gestreut werden , und die Auffahrt zum Eulennest dann doch abenteuerlich ist .

Haus war sauber und war alles da, was man für einen guten Aufenthalt braucht. Die Schlafräume unten haben muffig gerochen, was wir auch nicht lüften weg bekommen haben. Alles in allem hatten wir einen schönen Aufenthalt.

Eine wunderschöne Zeit in einen wunderschönen Haus
Wir haben die Zeit in dem Haus sehr genossen. Trotz Regenwetter hatten wir eine sehr schöne Zeit. Das Haus ist sehr gemütlich und mit allem was man braucht ausgestattet. Das beste ist der Kachelofen, der unheimlich viel Gemütlichkeit verbreitet

Wintereinbruch in der Rhön
Wir hatten eine super Zeit im Eulennest! Waren für ein verlängertes Wochenende in Hilders und haben die Zeit sehr genossen. Gerade im Winter bietet der Kachelofen eine wunderbare Wärme. Für uns war das Ferienhaus optimal, da unser Kind im EG ungestört schlafen konnte und wir uns im OG uneingeschränkt unterhalten konnten. Gerne wieder! Wir hatten bei Abreise eine Musikbox vergessen. Diese wurde uns super unkompliziert zugeschickt. Hätten es ohne Hinweis vom Eigentümer und der Haushälterin vermutlich erst viel später gemerkt. Lieben Dank dafür :)

Sehr gepflegtes Feriendomizil
Das Eulennest ist ein sehr sauberes Haus. Es ist stilvoll und mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Auch die Schlafräume im Souterrain waren sehr angenehm und das Raumklima war fein. Wir waren nur zu zweit unterwegs und hatten somit viel Platz.

Perfekt!
Ein sehr gemütliches und modernes Haus mit allen Annehmlichkeiten. Schöne Umgebung für viele Spaziergänge. Die Hunde und wir haben unseren Urlaub sehr genossen. Ich würde dieses Haus auf jeden Fall wieder für einen Urlaub buchen.
