Room was lovely. Food was pretty terrible at the evening event we attended - definitely 1/5. Breakfast Sunday morning was poorly laid out and staffed, I ended up cleaning a table for my party after borrowing a cloth from a member of staff otherwise we'd never have sat down. Cold plates in the hot food area, broken coffee machines with a very poor quality of coffee. Bucket and warning sign in the breakfast area to deal with the leaking roof meant this began to feel like an episode of Fawlty Towers. Friendly staff but feel they were badly out of their depth. Very disappointing from a conference hotel.

Gym and pool facilities were fully booked, hardly managed to get there once. Jacuzzi wasn’t working. Sunday morning at breakfast it was chaos as if we are here to eat for free. No table available no food absolutely terrible experience.

The room was freezing. The heating only stays on a couple of minutes and goes off. The house keepers couldn't be bothered with making the bed on my second night, they just threw the duvet over the pillows haphazardly, I found a small empty pack of my lens wipe on the bed. Probably fell out of my bag or something, when I turned down the duvet. Further prove they did not even attempt to make or even refresh the bed. I have picture evidence of this. Just in case. Was not worth the money I paid for it.

The fire alarm malfunctioned at around 3.30am we had to leave our rooms in our underwear and go to reception to be told its just a false alarm i booked this for my twin boys birthdays so the could relax peacefully as they have mild autism well that went out the window no compensation was offered or anything wont be booking here again for sure

Staff at check in were great. Room was clean and spacious. Was absolutely freezing in the room though. There was a massive event held in the conference room which meant everywhere was packed. The morning breakfast was a nightmare. No clean tables, long queues for cood Food was ok.
