I made reservations and paid online through Expedia for three nights, January 9th, 10th and the 11th and check out on the 12th. On the 11th the hotel clerk called the room and told us that we had to check out because I had only paid for two nights, which wasn't true. I went to the office and showed him my receipt where I had reserved and paid for three nights, he looked at the receipt, gave it back to me, and said I still had to check out or pay another hotel fee and I told him no I wasn't going to do that because I had already paid in advance for three nights. I told him if I had to I would call the authorities. Thirty minutes later he called back and said sorry maam, you did pay for three nights.
