Excellent! The room is neat and super clean. The service is very kindly and friendly. Most of them speak English. The breakfast food is very delicious with varieties of choices and drinks. I recommend staying this hotel.

Excellent location in District 1 on Dong Khoi and 1 block from Nguyen Hue, 10-12 minutes walking distance to the Saigon Opera House, Saigon Centre, Saigon Square and Vincom Centre. The hotel was 5 star, with high grade finishes and attentive staff. Excellent breakfast, with more than enough variety for everyone. The room had everything that you would want, even a separate tub in addition to the shower.

Really great hotel and stay

I really enjoyed my stay at the Grand Saigon. No flat spots! Just great. One thing - I really hate the volume of plastic in all hotels - plastic for drinking water, laundry services, bathroom supplies etc and no hint that they go into a recycling stream.

I got food poisoning from a restaurant ( not the hotels restaurant) this staff helped me every step of the way. They first sent me to a great hospital. Then they checked up on me a few times a day for the next few days. They made special foods at no charge!!! They even extend my check out for no charge! The service is the best I have had in 15 years of traveling!

This is an old hotel, yet very clean and in good condition. The location is great for local shops, restaurants and the river. The rooms are a very good size. The size of the double bed is amazing. Biggest I have ever slept in. The room is comfortable and quiet. There is a reasonable size swimming pool and a sky bar on the top floor with great views, menu and live band every night. Breakfast has a very big and wide selection of local and European foods. Difficult to know what to choose!

Outstanding accommodations. Our family booked a 2BR suite that was spacious and luxurious -- with very comfortable firm mattresses. Great location in a vibrant and bustling commercial area, but no street noise in the rooms. Nice pool. Excellent concierge and reception. Very much enjoyed the rooftop lounge. Unexpected highlight was the salon, where husband and wife each got top-quality haircuts and styling (with shampoo head-massage). Breakfast buffet was good, but our least favorite aspect of the stay. Would definitely stay here again.

We are currently on a month long trip through VN, Singapore, and Maylaysia. When we checked in at Grand Saigon Hotel a few days ago, we are on the final leg of the trip. This will be hotel #7 for the trip. Our experience at this hotel so far is the best. Overall the sevice level is great. Every employee was friendly and polite. However, I may have still considered staying and trying out another hotel before the end of this trip or a future trip. That quickly changed when we interacted with ELVIS in the breakfast buffet area. He was very friendly and attentive. He made us feel very welcome and truly gives off the vibe that he enjoyed ensureing we have a great experience. He remembered our drink preferences but continues to offer other choices that we ended up trying and enjoying. What is even more impressive is we noticed he was that way with everyone. He is truly a great employee and a very valuable asset to your hotel. I will definitely stay here again in the future and will highly recommend this hotels to all my friends and family. I will tell all of them to talk to him. He made this a great experience and I hope management gives him the recognitions he deserves. Again, this is hotel #7 for us. While the experiences at other hotels are good, ELVIS was truly the great difference here.
