This beautiful, freshly renovated property employs decorative flair to create the perfect marriage of old world elegance and up-to-date style. Featuring large bedrooms, high ceilings, and striking original leadlight windows, Best on Burnett is a stunning light-filled space offering a high level of comfort and many thoughtful touches.

An expansive hallway welcomes you upon entry, with double doors opening onto the sunlit, tastefully appointed living room. A generous separate dining room with polished Tasmanian timber floorboards ensures a seat for everyone at the table, although it's hard to imagine any cooking occurring with the famous North Hobart restaurant strip at your door! This room flows through to the bright, brand new kitchen where you will find a convection oven, two burner cooktop, refrigerator and dishwasher for your convenience.

The master bedroom is huge and boasts a luxurious queen size bed, chest of drawers and hanging space. A sumptuous double ended antique Victorian chaise longue, whose rich colour complements the glorious leadlight window detail, completes this sophisticated scene. A second good sized bedroom with queen bed also occupies the lower level.

Upstairs is home to the remaining two bedrooms. One is yet another spacious and bright room with a queen size bed and drawer/ hanging space, the other is gorgeously sunny and contains two single beds and a closet.

All beds are furnished with electric blankets, quality linen and pillows to ensure your ultimate comfort and a restful night's sleep.

Both bathrooms are located downstairs. Each has a shower, one also contains a toilet and the other is a combined bathroom/laundry with washing machine. A second, separate toilet adds convenience for larger groups.

Anzac Day Long Weekend in Hobart for 6 friends

The property was the ideal location in North Hobart and very comfortable for our group. There is no bathroom upstairs but that was not an issue for our us. We walked nearly everywhere and at the end of the night it was a short uber ride up the hill to bed. Highly recommend this property

Perfect Homebase

It is a beautiful property, wonderfully fitting for our family of four and our Mum's. Situated in the heart of a busy food area we enjoyed the central location to be able to get where we needed to go. Bright and clean home with charm and character.

Hobart stay

This house had enough space for 5 woman travelling to Hobart for a short holiday. It’s surrounded by fantastic pubs and cafes . We were spoilt for choices of places to eat out. The house was cozy warm with the heating and electric blankets. It was fairly noise free inside, even though the roadway outside was close. Natalie was great with communications during our stay. The only fault was not having a dryer at the property, which we didn’t end up needing as we had packed enough clothing .

Great Location and Beautiful Home, Highly recommend

We stayed in Hobart for a work function and this home was perfect for four adults to share. It was ideally located with lots of cafes and restaurants nearby and only a short walk to the wharf. The home was clean and had all the amenities you would need, along with plenty of space and some cute personal touches. Check in and keypad entry were great. Will definitely book again if staying in Hobart.

Central location

Very central and walking distance to Hobart centre. Very clean and spacious and appealing decor. A little noisy from bar/ night hot spot next door, but usually over by 10-11 pm. Front road has a lot of traffic and people walking home after pubs in the district shut. Very narrow drive way- unfortunately our car was hit by another car when we were trying to exit the driveway so you need to take extreme care RE driveway. Great location if you want to walk to get some dinner at the many restaurants however, not great if you wish to cook in for the evening, with just a small double hot plate, and minimal cooking equipment- therefore for a family wishing to prepare meals like us it wasn’t ideal.

Worked well for our party of eight, well equipped, clean, some traffic noise in the front bedrooms but not unbearable, we had 3 cars between us with no space for the third car but that was not unexpected, we all enjoyed our stay there.

We loved the property. We are great fans of the separate-room style. Each room was its own little hideaway. So comfortable. The bedrooms were a great size. The beds maybe a little too firm. The kitchen was equipped enough for me to do some cooking, which I love to do. Natalie was accessible by phone which was helpful. The location was very central which was great though some traffic noise. Simply and stylishly decorated. Uncluttered. We would definitely stay again. Thank you Natalie for providing a place where we could feel relaxed and at home.
