The Space:
Unwind in the sun-drenched living room, where expansive glass doors open onto a vast deck, inviting you to soak in breathtaking river views. Watch the ever-changing activity on the water as you relax in style. The gourmet kitchen, complete with a dishwasher and Nespresso coffee machine, is perfect for culinary enthusiasts looking to create memorable meals.

With three beautifully appointed living areas, there's ample space for every generation to unwind in comfort—whether enjoying a book, indulging in a movie on the large smart TV, or retreating for quiet relaxation.

Accommodating up to 10 guests, the five elegant bedrooms offer a haven of comfort:

Bedroom 1 – A cozy double bed near the front entrance, conveniently located near the upstairs bathroom with a steam shower.

Bedroom 2 (Master Suite) – The most spacious upstairs retreat, featuring a queen bed, an ensuite with a spa bath, a walk-in robe, and a private deck with stunning water views. A cot can be added if required.

Bedroom 3 – Located downstairs, this stylish room has a queen bed, wardrobe, and direct deck access.

Bedroom 4 – A tranquil queen-bed retreat with a hanging robe and serene water views.

Bedroom 5 – This stunning downstairs room boasts a queen bed, wardrobe, and breathtaking river views.

The lower level also features a generous living area, a luxurious main bathroom with a spa bath and shower, and a fully equipped laundry. Step outside to the expansive deck and undercover patio for alfresco relaxation.

Just a 5-minute drive to the heart of Hobart, or leave the car behind (with parking for three vehicles on-site) and take the bus from the bottom of the driveway. A port-a-cot and highchair are available on request.

For year-round comfort, every bedroom is equipped with panel heaters, and large air conditioning units ensure warmth in winter and a cool retreat in summer.

Guest Access:
Guests will have complete access to the entire house throughout their stay
"The Studio:" Is a self-contained apartment, located at the rear of the property, it is booked separately and may have guests from time to time. Both areas cannot be accessed by the other unless booked together. Please contact host if you would like to book both.

The Neighborhood:
Only 5 minutes’ drive to the centre of Hobart and less to the Casino and Sandy Bay business centre. Leave the car behind and use a Uber or Taxi, Buses run regularly down the hill on Churchill Avenue .
There is room room for 2 cars on the property and free parking on the road. Please note there is no access to garage.
Sandy Bay is one of Hobart's premier suburbs. It follows the River Derwent, from the outskirts of Hobart city, south, as far as Taroona (made famous by Princess Mary of Denmark). Sandy Bay is the home of the University of Tasmania and Wrest Point Casino and is only a few minutes drive from Hobart CBD. Properties in this area often have magnificent views of the River Derwent.

The suburb has its own shopping village where you will find a Coles and Woolworths as well as a selection of smaller shops, including a great butcher and bakery. All the major banks have branches in the village and there is also a post office. There are a selection of excellent cafes, bars and restaurants to choose from. These are all an easy drive from the house. Sandy Bay also has a lovely beach with an esplanade, park area with BBQs, children's play equipment and Wood Fired Pizza.

Getting Around:
Buses run regularly close by on Churchill Road , time tables can be accessed on line on the Metrotas website.
Taxi: If you need a taxi the telephone number is 131 008.
Uber is available in Hobart.

We recently stayed with family visiting from NSW. The communication and check in process was excellent. The home was even better than expected, with plenty of space, the most spectacular views & exceptionally clean. Highly recommended for anyone travelling with family or larger groups

Family Trip to Hobart

This home was the perfect spot for our extended family to gather for a Hobart wedding. Amazing views day and night; hiking out our back door and convenient to market, coffee and downtown Hobart. The home was spotless and true to photos. Highly recommend!

Awesome house and view. Great location

My wife and I plus our 5 adult children loved this house. It was clean and well presented with linen, towels and good quality furnishing. A fantastic view up and down the harbour. Only a 5 minute drive to a great little shopping area near the beach plus only 5 minutes to the centre of Hobart for the night life, Cafe's and selection of restaurants. We will be back.
