Apotek guest house was very clean and the room was very spacious. The beds were comfortable and the eating area was very clean and nicely organized with some good breakfast options. The location was great, close to the ocean walking paths and in the town close to stores etc. We highly recommend!

Well located guesthouse, close to a couple of restaurants, a supermarket and the sea! Basic breakfast facilities are provided with the cost. Warm, comfortable and met our needs.

We were able to check in on our own easily. The room was very clean but could have used some shower soap and hand towels. Breakfast items limited to juice, milk and cereals and not the yogurt we were told would be available so we purchased our own.

An absolute gem of a guesthouse!

Apotek Guesthouse is the place you must stay in Hofn! We absolutely loved our two nights there and would go back in a heartbeat. Pristine in all areas, great wifi, plenty of hot water, lovely kitchen area which guests are welcome to use, dining area, lovely coffee and hot chocolate machine, cereal and cake free breakfast - beds are sooo comfie, honestly a 10/10 stay. Across the road a lovely swimming pool with hot tubs - a great restaurant not too pricey and a lemon garage a few more steps up the road. Also a Netto 1 min walk. We had some lovely walks nearby also. Well done to the owners who made our stay a fabulous one ❤️

Our family of seven stayed here for two nights, two adjacent rooms. We had a wonderful stay. Owner was very helpful and friendly. They have a nice free breakfast with coffee, tea, pastries, fruit, yogurt. Spacious area to eat together, hang out and play games. The rooms were very comfortable. Cute town with restaurant options.

We arrived late at 9:50 PM, no staff service. The room is clean. No closet in the room. It has shampoo and conditioner, but no body shower gel, we have to use the shampoo or hand wash to wash body. Sink draining very slow. Free drinks, but no breakfast available.

Definitely one of the best guesthouses I’ve stayed in. Their kitchen is all we needed after days of burning our pockets eating outside. So well stocked up, so clean and amazingly friendly staff. What more would one ask for!

Good location

The location was great for getting out to restaurants and a nice walk along the waterfront. One night there was no hot water but it cam back the next morning
