Place was very clean, no evidence of animal hair. Love the view! Kitchen is a bit dated, and kitchen table has an older finish, very sticky despite wiping it down. The covered porch is wonderful!

The beds and mattresses were very comfortable. View was amazing. Despite the windy weather and some rain, we had a lovely time. The porch was well protected from the elements. Kitchen had lots of pots and pans, but no spices, so come prepared with some if you like to cook. There was no owners book to describe the TV function. The faucet in the bathroom between adjoining bedrooms needs replacing, It is very loose and seems to be on the verge of leaking.

Great experience!

Experience was fantastic! Location is great (for what we like) and the view was also beautiful. There are some details that should be addressed though. One section of the deck was squishy when you stepped on it, the westward bathroom has a jiggly seat, the eastern bathroom could use a hand held shower head. This unit needs curtains. Blinds are nice but when the sun comes up they aren't enough to keep the light out of the rooms. The basement is creepy and dirty as well. Make no mistake, the house is well equipped and laid out pretty well. We needed for nothing.

Amazing beachfront getaway!

This beachfront property was even better than the listing! The house was updated, clean and had a fully stocked kitchen. The house has its own beachfront access with an amazing view of the ocean from inside the house and the deck. The house was dog friendly and a comfortable getaway for my spouse and parents that were visiting. Would 100% rent this property again!

We loved our Stay at Topsail Beach

What a location! The rental property was clean and in great shape, everything worked as advertised. This property has two bathrooms, which was great for four adults. The shower in one of the bathrooms was tight but very usable. The pressure treated wooden stairs and decks sturdy but are showing their age, recommend you wear foot ware when walking on them. We absolutely loved the place and will be coming back soon!

Disappointed

The home smelled musty. We had to make the beds, which is fine but when I pulled the bed away from the wall to make it there was dust & dog fur along the baseboard. The comforters & shams on all of the beds had dog fur on them. The spare blanket was dirty. When I texted the management company asking if new linens would be provided there was no response so we washed them ourselves. All of this after a late pm arrival & a 14 hr drive. I knew this was a dog friendly rental but fur on the beds is not acceptable. It also states in the check out instructions to be sure no dog fur on beds. The dryer wasn't vented properly & one shower did not have hot water. This was fixed quickly & courteously. There wasn't a binder explaining rules, trash, internet etc. When I texted about this all I got was the wifi info. The vacuum cleaner didn't work & there wasn't a dust pan to go with the broom making cleaning a bit challenging. The home is cute & well laid out. The beach is your back yard.

Perfect Spot!

I can’t believe there aren’t more reviews. House was a the perfect fit for the three of us - plenty of privacy but also common area to hang out. Dog friendly, amazing access to the beach- literally sand in the steps lol! We had a fantastic time! Quiet enough to relax and close enough to head to Surf City if entertainment is needed. Will book again!
