Two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a private patio with direct pool access, and a detail that sets it apart from every other unit in the complex: a gas log fireplace in the living room. On the cooler winter evenings that Holmes Beach gets more often than visitors expect, that fireplace earns its place.

Step out the patio door and the heated pool is right there — shared among the four Anna Cabana bungalows, surrounded by tropical landscaping, and consistently uncrowded. The enclosed outdoor shower off the patio is private and well-finished — the kind of post-beach detail that turns a rinse into something genuinely enjoyable.

Both bedrooms have queen beds — a different configuration from the king-bed units next door, and the right choice for two couples or a family of four who want equal sleeping arrangements. Two full bathrooms mean the mornings stay manageable. Flat-screen TVs in both bedrooms and the living room. High-speed WiFi throughout.

The kitchen is fully equipped for meals at home. An in-unit washer and dryer handles the week's beach clothes privately. Coin-operated laundry is also available on-site as a backup. Beach chairs, umbrella, and all linens are provided.

The Gulf beach is 100 yards away — steps across the street. Skinny's Place is minutes on foot. Publix, Walgreens, and the free Anna Maria Island trolley are all within easy walking distance. Guests consistently report not needing their car for the entire week.

Anna Cabana Bungalow #4 requires a one-week minimum stay with parking for two vehicles. Not pet-friendly. No smoking permitted on the property.

credit cards for final payment with a 3% fee on the balance due.

You are vacationing in a residential area, please be a good neighbor by keeping the noise to a respectful level during the day and night. Excessive and unreasonable noise can deprive neighbors of the peaceful enjoyment of their private property. Quiet hours are observed from 10 PM to 7 AM.

Stop looking! This is prime! Location is excellent-a block away from Holmes Beach! It was a 2 min walk at most to the beach from this lovely spacious home. Had most everything you’d need. We stayed a week and enjoyed both the beach and the pool in backyard. The pool is shared with 2-3 other condo guests, but it’s private enough so we always had it to ourselves. Protected from wind and a gorgeous setting. The property had plenty of beach chairs, floaties, beach toys, beach towels, etc. Did not have a cooler available to take to the beach, so bring one yourself like we did! The communication via text re: check in/out was excellent and had we needed anything during our stay we would have been promptly responded to. Comfortable beds, AC, unique set up with plenty of space for a family of 4.

We rented 3 of the 4 cabanas just recently; we were in #4 for the first time. It was very comfortable, and the pool is perfect. The proximity to the beach is great. Everything you need is within walking distance (stores, restaurants, etc.) Planning our return already!The one drawback was the couches were cleaned during our stay which meant we couldn’t use the living room for 2+ days while they dried. Would appreciate that being completed when guests aren’t renting. That’s my only suggestion.

However there are few beach chairs (we had to rent two)and the beach wagon is inoperable. The drapes in the master bedroom have a major stain. (I can provide a photo). It needs a good cleaning--the grout in the kitchen and baths is filthy. The couches have many stains. This is a gem of a property, it just needs some cleaning. New washer/dryer. Plenty of towels and kitchen was well equipped. Location is great. I would stay here again, but only if it was deep cleaned. This wouldn't take much effort. Property manager was very responsive to minor issues (fridge needed new water filter and gas grill needed new tank of propane)

It became commonplace to spend evenings killing mosquitoes as they landed on your skin. Other bugs included a cockroach,a worm, and a small frog inside the property. While the rental was in a good location and had a florida charm it fell short of its potential.The units decorating was a bit unpleasant. The bathrooms definitely could be updated. Although the patio and pool area were really nice. All in all a bit of renovating would go a long way.

We loved Anna Maria and Anna Cabana was great for our week long vacation. We rented a golf cart which made it really easy to get around but it wasn't need, just good for exploring.

I did not expect to spend too much time at the house, but it was so enjoyable. We got lucky and had the pool to ourselves the entire week we stayed. Everything was rather comfortable. Unfortunately, there were a couple of down falls. The bedroom nearest the pool, with bathroom attached, was rather uncomfortable. The bed was extremely stiff and the sheets were scratchy.I was really looking forward to a relaxing sleep every night, unfortunately, that was never the case. Another issue was the room was extremely hot, unless the bathroom door was shut, the AC did not cool the room down. If the bathroom door is shut, the bathroom becomes almost impossible to be in. The shower in said bathroom floods like crazy. We ended up keeping a mop in the bathroom.One final flaw was the keypad lock on the front door. It was too hot a lot of the time and we were often locked out, we were eventually given a key, but we had to go to the office to pick the key up.

It was uncomfortable and I moved to the living room couch. The outdoor, like the doors, need painting. Still, we loved the place and we would come back.

The unit is perfectly clean and well maintained and the landscaping is beautiful. The kitchen is well stocked and I probably used the private laundry room at least every other day so we didn't come home with suitcases full of duty clothes. The layout gives the 2 bedrooms some privacy from each other. With a toddler, I especially loved that the patio areas have their own fences/gates so we didn't have to worry about her running out the back door and directly into the pool. Which was well maintained with pool people coming at least twice while we were there to keep it clean. The beach equipment like the cart and the chairs were so convenient even with the beach such a short walk away. My kids agreed that we don't need to look for a different rental next time. We'll be back!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Only thing that would have made our stay absolutely perfect would been to have one remote control for the tv. Having three remotes for every tv was very frustrating. Not user friendly

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family reserved the entire Anna Cabana bungalow resort and Anna Cabana beach house for a family gathering. We all enjoyed the accommodations, well-maintained, perfectly clean, lovely pool area, it was just perfect. A very short walk across the street to the beach entrance, easy walking distance to all the shopping you would need on vacation, ice cream, casual restaurants, all in easy reach.

We had working the TV remote and the response was prompt and effective. The people at Island Vacation Realties are always pleasant and professional. I can't imagine a better location on Anna Maria island! We look forward to our return next year!

Perfect in every way

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We, along with four long time friends, just returned home after a wonderful week at Anna Cabanas 3 & 4. Both units were impeccably clean, and unit 4 was stocked with everything we could possibly want to make our stay enjoyable and easy. The circus decor was fun, the living area was spacious and the pool area was gorgeous - a private oasis. Some of had mobility issues (hopefully temporary!) and Anna Cabana was easy to navigate with no steps. We spent the week in search of the perfect grouper dish (Hurricane Hanks was declared the winner), but there are so many wonderful restaurants right in Holmes Beach as well as the Bridge St. area. The folks at Island Vacation Properties were friendly and professional. The mattress in the green bedroom made me happy to get back to my own bed - old bones need softer support, but that may just be personal preference. Overall, this place is a gem. If you go, there is a nursing mama squirrel who would appreciate a few peanuts. Enjoy your stay!
