Peaceful Holmes is a freshly remodeled island gem located on the desirable west side of Gulf Drive—which means no streets to cross on your way to the soft, white sands of Holmes Beach.

Inside, the home is bright, airy, and filled with vacation vibes. Coastal furnishings, brand-new flooring, and colorful hand-painted walls bring a cheerful energy, while plush mattresses and crisp linens ensure a comfortable night’s sleep. The spacious layout includes three bedrooms and three full baths, offering both privacy and flexibility for families or groups.

The first king suite features a spa-like ensuite bath with a walk-in glass shower and double vanity—plenty of space to unpack and unwind. The second king suite also includes a private ensuite bath with its own beautiful tiled shower and tropical flair. The third bedroom offers a brand-new queen bed and is just steps from the third full bathroom, which has another walk-in shower and vibrant mural that reminds you you’re somewhere special.

The kitchen has been fully updated with new appliances, custom cabinetry, and everything you need to cook at home—or simply enjoy a morning coffee before heading to the beach. Outside, the private backyard is a tropical oasis with a heated pool, comfortable lounge chairs, outdoor dining, and a gas grill for easy poolside meals. When you return from the beach, rinse off in the hot/cold outdoor shower and settle in for a relaxing evening under the lights.

Peaceful Holmes truly lives up to its name. With its unbeatable location, fresh and fun interior, and amenities that make beach life easy, it’s a home guests return to again and again.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

We generally require a minimum stay of 7 nights with Saturday check-in during the high season. We are more flexible in the off season so please send us a message if your dates appear unavailable. We may be able to accommodate you!

Housekeeping will provide a starter supply of toilet paper, soap, and garbage bags but guests will likely need to replenish the supply during their stay.

Anna Maria island is a family community and the city imposes a strict noise ordinance. Please adhere to our good neighbor policy and observe the local quiet hours between 10 pm and 8 am. No loud music or use of the pool is allowed during these hours along with any other noise which may disturb the neighbors.

Amazing Home

We had an amazing time staying at Peaceful Holmes. We have been coming to the island now for 19 years and this was by far the most well kept property with amazing customer service from Vacasa. The house is extremely well maintained with upgrades to make you feel at home. The pool is maintained to the highest standard throughout the week. We received prompt responses from Vacasa regarding questions we had. We will be back again!

Paradise!

This is the first time we stayed at this property. It was absolutely gorgeous. Very clean and roomy. We loved the privacy of the back patio and the pool. It was beautifully landscaped and it made you feel like you were in paradise. Having a fully equipped kitchen and washer and dryer was great. Couldn’t ask for a better location to the beach. Just steps away. We were sad to leave but we definitely will be coming back.

Great property, great location.

Location couldn't be any better...on a great, quiet street with outstanding beach access used by 81st street residents. The beach access is sort of camouflaged which makes it great for a less crowded beach experience. House was great, kitchen had everything you need, pool was small but perfect for taking a dip after a tough day at the beach. Beds were very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again!

Florida get-a-way

Our stay in Holmes Beach/Anna Maria Island was wonderful. The property was great and we had a wonderful time. Everything we needed was provided including beach chairs, umbrella and the like. The kitchen is well stocked. The place was beautiful, clean, and close to everything. We loved the pool and the back yard - so very private. Would go back in a minute!!!!!!

Retirement Celebration

This house is gorgeous, has everything you need and in a great location! We hope to return again someday. It has two master suites and a bathroom to go with each bedroom. The kitchen has everything you need to cook your gourmet meal. House is so comfortable, furnished very nice, kitchen has everything and 3 baths a real plus. Two king masters perfect. Such a short walk to beach. Patio is perfect for playing cards and enjoying being outside!

Wonderful cottage, clean, beautifully decorated and well appointed on a quiet street right next to a great white sandy beach. 2 good sized master suites and a smaller suite. Pool a little small but with the beach next door did not make a difference. Pool heating worth it. Would stay again

Ideal Location -- Property is as Nice as Listing

Fantastic Location with beach access just 1/2 block away. I believe this home was recently renovated and whoever did the decor should get an award for staying true to the laid back beach atmosphere of AMI. The home itself is very comfortable with two of the three bedrooms being fairly large. The kitchen is fully equipped.

Spectacular vacation!

This is the 11th summer of the past 12 summers that we have rented a house on Anna Marie Island. This was the first time for Peaceful Holmes... and it won't be the last as we have already reserved for next summer! The house was spacious and spectacular in all aspects. Bedrooms were large & each had its own private bathroom! Kitchen was recently remodeled with expensive commercial grade appliances... not the usual stuff you find in rentals of this type. Nothing to complain about and everything to brag about. Worth every penny of the rental fee!!!

Perfect Place

I have already submitted a review, but have not gotten any feedback from you or Vacasa concerning the issues I had during our stay. The home was fine, but my dealings with Vacasa were not. I called three times about no sheets for one of the beds, and was told they would be delivered, but they weren't. Although informed we would be charged for disarming the door alarms, they did not work when we arrived and one fell off the wall!

Great location

The location is ideal - right in the middle of Holmes Beach. We enjoyed the short walk to the beach for sunset and the bike ride to downtown. Plenty of good restaurants nearby with outside seating and the weather was ideal.

Great beach access

My family of 6 enjoyed our fall beach vacation at this home. It is close to the beach...just a few houses away from the sand with no roads to cross. It was immaculately clean and had all the cooking things we needed for a week. The pool is small, but was plenty for fun with the kids. I would stay here again.

Great getaway.

I should begin by saying that the house is just as nice and cozy as pictured. I was skeptical at first because booking online can often lead to misleading properties. This was not the case. We walked in and the property was extremely clean, smelled great, and beautiful! The pool is actually slightly bigger in real life than in the pictures. Perfect for a family of 5 and we took our 2 year old son. The kitchen is equip with everything you could possibly need (and then some) and it’s extremely close to the beach. Definitely recommend!
