So close to the beach

We had an amazing time and loved the house. Just 3 houses from the beach....hard to get much better than that. Management company was great to work with, took care of our every need.

The Place was great and close to beach. The pool did not get a lot a sun during the day due to all the palm trees which was a little disappointing. Overall great house for our families.

The house was a perfect size for our group of 12. It was too cold and windy for the beach for a couple of days, so we spent a lot of time in the warm pool and hot tub.

A great house in a great location

My wife, 5 young kids and I all really enjoyed our stay at this house. We especially loved the pool, hot tub, and the short distance to the beach. We brought up a couple of minor issues, and the management was right on top of them. We are looking forward to returning next year!

We had an amazing time in Anna Maria Island at the Sea Oats! Beautiful home only a few houses from the beach. Easy 2 min walk to a wonderful quiet beach. The house was beautiful and spacious with 6 bedrooms and plenty of room to spread out. Heated Pool was very nice to come home to after a fun day at the beach!Beds were comfortable and there was plenty of seating for a large group. Really enjoyed our time at the house and would definitely recommend! Note: the ping pong table in the pictures is no longer here and if the weather is below 60 the pool may not heat properly (only impacted 1-2 days) , but we had a great time in spite of the weather!

Awesome location and house

We arrived for a 50th birthday party with 11 people. The house was awesome and stocked with everything we needed. The location was perfect best to the beach. The pool made the afternoons fun for relaxing and having a few drinks. The house is close to everything in the island and quiet when everyone went to bed. The elevator was an added bonus for moving luggage. Thanks for an excellent stay.

Beautiful place and great location!

We really enjoyed our stay here. We had 2 families and 12 people, and it never felt crowded. The elevator did stop working, but they had it fixed immediately. This was very important to us bc one of us has a medical condition that necessitated the need of it instead of it being just a nice convenience. Also, the location is prime. It's on a dead end street, so you don't get any through traffic. Great for families with young kids. Ammenities were good, and their relationship with the rental company made things very easy- it was there when we arrived and they picked up when we left. Also, a rare thing is they had quite a few board games-nice addition. We'd definitely stay here again.

Just steps away from the beach, could not ask for a better location. The pool and hot tub were an added treat. Location to stores, restaurants, some within walking distance. The rental company made it easy to check-in and check out. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Easy beach access for the kids

We choose this rental as we have 3 year olds to 13 year olds and we did not want to cross a busy street to get to the beach. This location was perfect. Just a few blocks from the sand. The side street dead ends at the beach like the photos show. No busy roads to cross. We really enjoyed the location and beach access. The pool was great. Was happy they had a nice grill by the pool. We had 2 families stay for a total of 10 people. Easily accommodated everyone. In addition, family living nearby joined us for dinners and we squeezed everyone in👍Stores and restaurants were an easy 4 block walk. I would stay here again. As avid cooks, Kitchen supplies were basic, like others commented. But enough to make some big dinners.

Super location. Could have better kitchen accessories. No baking sheets. Dull knives. Skillet with Teflon worn off. But overall appearance was good of the house, bed rooms, and living space was good. Excellent response from managers except for the elevator being inoperable from the time we arrived on Sat until Mon. mid morning . Main reason for renting this house was it was close to the beach and had an elevator. While management offered to come over and help with baggage- that was not our problem. It was that one member of our party has difficulty with stairs. Suggest management check all rentals on the day they are to be rented and not depend on previous renters to tell them of any problems. We rent a house every year about the same time and the elevator problem was a big one for us. Would tell you to rent this place because it is close to the beach and has a heated pool. Just don't pay extra to have it heated three degrees hotter, because it doesn't happen Hot tub was a nice temp and was used arly Very nice pool area and grill to enjoy

Sea Oats “Not A Brand New Property”

We were excited for our vacation because when we booked the property it was advertised and still is advertised as being a brand new six bedroom four and a half bath house. Upon checking in on Saturday, we were told there would be no cold water at the kitchen sink because the faucet was leaking and the water had to be turned off and a plumber would not arrive until Monday morning. Not much we could do but live with it because the owner of the property would not pay extra for a Saturday service call. After we had dinner with our large group we went to use the dishwasher and it did not work either. It was not going to be much fun washing dishes for the next few days but again what can you do. Monday morning we woke up and one person in our group happened to go down to the garage and found the ceiling drywall was soaking wet with water and drywall dripping all over my fathers car. Called management and they came out and turned the water off completely at the kitchen sink, but we were assured the plumber was on his way. It was a long one mile trip from the plumbing company which is located on the island, finally showed up at 445pm. I questioned him and he said he only got the call fifteen minutes before that. By this time we were pretty frustrated along with many small things like both master shower lights that didn’t work, living room lamp bulb burnt out and three plastic pieces that feel off of each refrigerator drawer the first time we went to use them. I’m thinking it would have been a better business decision for the property owner to pay extra for a Saturday repair and all of this could have been avoided.

Needs Care

We had a big family group that enjoyed this well designed property with its lovely pool and proximity to the beach. The bedroom and bathroom layout is superb. The property, however, needs care. The two top floor king mattresses are tired and sag ( a comment on a previous review.) The paint on the master bedroom ceiling is stained around the pot lights. The pool furniture is very frayed and one seat is caved in. The barbecue was so dirty that it caught fire when we used it. The barbecue implements are rusted. There is no light above the barbecue, so we used a phone light in the absence of a flashlight. The slip covers on the living room chairs are dirty. There were several other smaller things that I assume are fixed by now (broken fridge drawers, oven drawer stuck, two piece toaster instead of four for a place this size, etc.) Charles C.

Another great week at Sea Oats

We have rented this property before so we were familiar with it. Since we rented previously, the code has changed and the bathroom off the pool area is no longer available. This was a minor inconvenience because we had young children who spent long hours in the pool. We paid an additional amount to have the pool heated a little warmer for the kids and that was a good decision although we did have nice weather. Upon arrival we had no electricity in some areas of the house but the realty company sent someone out promptly. We love the location of this house, near beach, grocery store, CVS, and beach cafe.

Ideal for a large extended family

We had 9 adults, a two year old and 2 9 month old babies. There was plenty of room to house the children separate from parents. And the grandparents didn't hear a thing at night when the babies were crying (we slept downstairs). Were able to make use of the hot tub after the pool guy gave us some tips-- the weather was cold, so the pool wasn't used at all. Pool is shaded all day which makes it even colder when the weather isn't good. Walk a block to the beach-- beautiful and so convenient. We could be together but everyone could still do their own thing. Driveway faces south so we were able to be very warm in the sun even though it was 50's and 60's--- just wheeled our lounge chairs out and sunned that way,. Had a couple of issues with propane and ice cube maker-- called the office and they acted immediately to replace the tank and bring us ice until the ice maker was fixed. Awesome staff. They also had some beach chairs and a cart to pull to the beach. Only thing negative was having to buy toilet paper and salt and pepper and basic spices. Seems like a place of this price should provide these basic things. Loved our stay. Would definitely come again.

Great House for Large Family

Our family had a great time staying in this house for a week in mid February. We would rent again if we ever need 6 bedrooms on Anna Maria Island. The location is great. My advice for any one staying here is remember toilet paper and paper towels when you get your groceries for your stay there. Also, there is ALOT of tile in the house including the stairs to go to the second floor so the sound carries and it can get really noisy for people sleeping upstairs when people downstairs are still up and watching TV or hanging out.

Summer beach week

This is a great home...we have rented it for the past two years..wonderful for us.. This year we had a problem with the pool...apparently the pool man says it is tripping and needs to be replaced ..we are hesitant in renting for next summer because of this. It should be repaired. We understand the lights that need to be on but would like to be assured it is functioning properly for our seven grandchildren. If not for this issue all is well. Great location and very accommodating...we have wonderful memories and all our grands love it and look forward to our annual trip. What a beautiful area...

Family Week at Sea Oats

This is a beautiful property with plenty of space for multiple families. We loved the quiet location close to Publix, CVS, a handful of restaurants, and a short walk to the beach. We were disappointed in the hot tub as it was the same temperature as the pool and lukewarm at best. We were also surprised to have some basics rationed, such as one trash bag provided, one SAMPLE size bar of soap and one roll of TP provided per BR, etc. We only had 6 adults and 3 small kids for a week, less than the capacity. Anyone renting this property should expect to add these items to their shopping list. We could not start the grill and the office sent someone out right away. All in all, a good week.
