Welcome to Sea Star Cottage! Beautifully decorated with your own private heated pool plus large covered ground floor lanai. You will be steps to the beach with access point at the end of our road. We supply everything you'll need for an easy beach vacation. Beach towels, beach trolly, chairs, umbrellas and a cooler bag! All you'll need is your swimsuit.

We strive to bring only the best quality experience to our guests, to do so we provide a professional linen service to better enhance your enjoyment while staying here. This luxury amenity provides you high quality linens that are in place and ready for your use upon arrival. These high- quality linens are laundered in a commercial setting that uses only hypoallergenic, perfume and dye free soaps assuring all of our guests a comfortable stay.

Our property includes use of our MEMBERSHIP at The Center of Anna Maria Island. This membership allows our guests access to pickleball, tennis, a fitness center and wellness classes including yoga. There is also access ( some at additional costs) to kids camps and concerts. Feel free to ask us more about our membership.
We think of the little things to make your vacation special. All linens are provided including sheets, bath towels, kitchen towels, and pool towels.

Sea Star cottage is in a great location centrally located on Anna Maria Island. Walking distance to shops and restaurants yet nestled just off of the main road.

Please be a good neighbor by keeping the noise to a respectable level during the day and night. Excessive and unreasonable noise can deprive neighbors of the peaceful enjoyment of their private property.



What makes this property so special is its very close direct beach access to the idyllic soft white sand of the Gulf beaches and breathtaking sunsets. A peaceful neighborhood, walking distance to restaurants and shops. Free island trolly bus stop just around the corner. Onsite parking makes it easy to unload.

If you are a larger party, or traveling with friends and family please checkout our other site Vrbo property ID 1645447( or contact owner to inquire) which allows you to rent both sides. Both units have private yard and pool but fences can be opened to share the property. This allows you to be as together as you may like while still having your privacy.

Wonderful stay!

We visit AMI every year and this property was extremely nice for a small family with young children. The beds were comfortable, everything worked well and the kitchen was stocked. The pool is perfect with a great amount of both sun and shade and we enjoyed eating most of our meals outdoors at the covered table near the pool. They also have everything you could possibly want for beach days (wagon, chairs, umbrella, toys, cooler, etc). We truly enjoyed our stay.

First off the place was CLEAN and pics are exactly what you got!!, location is great, close to the beach, a mile into Anna Maria’s downtown and 1 mile to Holmes beach. but even more importantly stuff happens in a rental, especially when you are there for a month and Carolyn was great, communication awesome! Beach chairs had been damaged she drop off new ones. Ice maker not working she replaced it . Only problem she is already booked for next year and we are on the waitlist!

Overall things were great. A nice private small pool, convenient golf cart charger, good communication with the hosts. It's exactly as described. My only comment for improvement is that the water pressure in the master bath but everything else compensated for that

Perfect vacation

This place is everything we wanted in an Anna Maria stay! The house was very clean and had everything we needed. It had a well stocked kitchen with a KCup coffee machine and a regular coffee pot and every thing you’d need to cook for the week. The pool area was peaceful, quiet, and a great spot to sit and cool off, we also loved to play cards at the awesome covered table by the pool. We enjoyed our morning coffee on the deck and loved eating dinner out there as well. The location was a 2 min walk to the beautiful beach, and this rental had everything we needed to enjoy our day at the beach; awesome beach chairs, beach toys, umbrella, and even a wagon to tow it the short walk. Our host, Carolyn, was accommodating and checked in on us early in the week. The rental is a perfect location, walkable to beach, short drive to Pine Ave, but also convenient to Publix etc. It’s in a quiet residential part of Anna Maria and we loved that. If we return to AMI, we’d definitely rent here again!

Perfect!

Our stay at Sea Star Cottage was absolutely wonderful. The property is clean and very well maintained. When we had questions for the owner, communication was quick and easy. It was really nice to find beach gear available as we realize this is not standard at all rental locations. Location was great and beach was not busy. Pool is small in size but was perfect for our family. It is the nicest pool we have ever had at a rental property. We typically stay further north on the island so it was nice to find the same charm in a different area. We rented bikes from Beach Bums and we only used our car once during our week. Our family has stayed on AMI for many of our family vacations and found this location to be our favorite. We would definitely rent here again.

What a place!

This place had everything! The inside was spacious and updated while the outside had a covered seating area next to your very own pool. The location was amazing as well. A less than 5 minute walk to the beach or trolley stop, what more could you ask for.

Perfect location for family

The house was perfect for a family vacation with two children. Only a block to the beach. The pool was great to cool off in the afternoons. The kitchen was stocked for daily breakfast and dinners. Lots of beach and pool toys provided. We used the wagon and umbrella on the beach. The owner called to check in and was very friendly. Would definitely stay again.

Perfect vacation from start to finish

The home was exactly as described. Beautiful quiet neighborhood. Very clean home with everything we needed. You can tell the owner has recently invested in many upgrades to the inside and outside of the property. Pool area clean. Owner furnished chairs, umbrellas, coolers which made traveling so much easier. Communication with Carolyn the owner was terrific. Looking forward to another vacation on Holmes beach.

The house was just as it looked in the pictures. Very comfortable and well located on Anna Maria. The backyard and pool were a lovely oasis. Nice to have pool heat included in the price. Amazing Sea Star Cottage!

The Sea Star Cottage and its host - Carolyn - are amazing! The place exceeded our expectations. It is centrally located, a short walk to the beach, and the ambience and general feel of the entire cottage were great! Carolyn was always helpful and recommended several local eating places that were spot on for our tastes. Carolyn is very much an authentic and welcoming host. We would highly recommend staying here.
