'Mountain Retreat' is one block from the Beach, a few blocks from the Zoo, the bus stop is right in front of the building. Restaurants, nightlife, and activities for all ages are nearby.

'Mountain Retreat' has a Fully equipped Kitchen with Full size fridge, Convection Microwave oven which you can also bake with, pots, pans, utensils, cups, plates, drip coffee maker, toaster, rice cooker, and more... . A 1 bedroom with a King Size bed in the bedroom, night stand and dresser. There is a queen size pullout couch in the living room, that can sleep 2.. There are three large sliding doors that close to divide the bedroom from the living space. Linens, beach towels and blankets are provided

There is an over sized Lanai to admire the majestic beauty of the Ko'olau Mountains

The Banyan complex offers a full host of other amenities including, Washer/Dryer at the end of each hall, convenient trash chute, sauna, steam room, mini convenience store, and coffee shop.

The rental was exactly as described - comfortable size, light and airy and clean. Modern kitchen (everything worked and nicely stocked) and bathroom. Beautiful view, especially mornings. Enjoyable Waikiki Getaway!!!

We loved our stay for 10 nights at the condo. It is very nice, clean, the bed is comfortable, the view is amazing and it’s furnished with everything you need. The parking pass is definitely a plus. Our stay at this one-bedroom condo in Waikiki was exceptional. The apartment was fully stocked and well-appointed, making it feel like a home away from home. The air-conditioning kept us comfortable during our visit, along with 2 fans and beautiful sliding door to a spacious deck (which had beach chairs and all the beach necessities!)The host Mike was outstanding—his communication and hospitality truly enhanced our experience. The community surrounding the condo was exquisite, offering easy access to the beach and local restaurants. We appreciated the cleanliness and thoughtful amenities provided, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Included parking pass was a finacial life saver and there was never an issue getting a spot. Overall, this rental is highly recommended for anyone visiting Waikiki and the island of Oahu!

Location, Location, Location

Mike, the owner, responds quickly and he is very helpful. Pros: 1) Location is everything. Condo is conveniently located to beach, shopping, dining, and entertainment etc. 2) Kitchen is well equipped and thoughtfully laid. It had everything I needed for my stay. 3) I took the public bus, which was easy; the bus stop is less than one block from the condo. 4) Most excursions will pick you up from Waikiki Banyan, which is convenient for sight seeing 5) The kitchen is updated, and cleaning supplies are left so you don't have to buy that. Cons: Upon my arrival, the lock box holding the key fell off right after I accessed it. Not a safe feeling knowing access is not secured. Upon entering the unit, the sliding patio door was left wide open. The patio door does not close. The latch is too short to reach the lock and the latch is flimsy. This condo is on the 36th floor, had it been on a lower floor, I would have an issue with safety. The condo is clean and smelled fresh, but the rug is old, worn and stained. It needs to be replaced. The bathroom sink has very little water pressure. I could not wash my hands or wash the make off my face properly. The Shower has good water pressure (Yeah) The washer/dryer are not in the unit; it is located a short distance from the condo and is coin or app operated. There is one washer and one dryer on each floor. The pool area is nice but again needs updating. This is good Condo, but it is not a luxury condo as advertised in the description.

Easy Stay at Waikiki

Great location, we loved the neighborhood. Having the parking included was amazing. We’ve stayed in Honolulu and have always payed $20 to $30 a day for parking. Great location

The property is located very close to the beach but not so close you have to deal with all the headaches of traffic. Beautiful views of mountain side and diamond head. Host was very responsive and had provided detailed instructions to make sure everything was comfortable and smooth.

Comfortable stay in great location

We really enjoyed our stay at the condo. The location was perfect. It was clean, cozy and had all the amenities you could need. We loved having all the beach gear. The view from the lanai was beautiful. I only wish we could have stayed longer!

Great location with beautiful view

Perfect for the two of us. Clean and comfortable condo. Walking distance to beach, shopping, and restaurants. We would stay here again.
