The room was great, lots of space. The staff was always helpful. This is a cashless hotel. The entertainment next door helped pass the time when I didn't have other plans. Parking was plentiful and the cost was decent for the 6 nights I was there.
The front desk has tokens if you want to use the laundry equipment. Much cheaper than the actual laundry service. €3,50 each machine and there is a clothes line in the bathroom if they don't get all the way dry.

Very clean and nicely presented hotel. Easy check in and check out. Very expensive breakfast in the hotel and the nearest town Hoofdorp is about a 10-15 minute drive away in a taxi so think they exploit the fact that there is not much around and charge and extortionate amount for breakfast. For a family of 4 one days breakfast would have cost us 80 euros approx and there was not enough variety to justify this price. Otherwise no issues. Close to the airport and there is public bus transport local to the hotel

The hotel is in a beautiful garden and park land. There are groceries and a shopping mall nearby (15-20 minute walk) and a bus stop across the street with connection to the train line. Everything was sparkling clean. The sauna was an unexpected treat, and the common areas (lobby with pool tables) were fun.

Marriott Amsterdam Airport plus Hotels.com Scam

First of all let me address hotels.com. Hotels.com is shady as hell and am upset. I paid $128 to hotels.com plus about $8 in city taxes paid at the hotel. When I checked Marriott website immediately after I made this “no cancellation” reservation, the exact room was €108 including city taxes. So hotels.com is out here shafting people. I do not intent to use their services after this. And as a Marriott member, of course I couldn’t get my points after being swindled by hotels.com As per the hotel: The hotel was cozy, exquisite, nice, fresh and the staff were GREAT! Amenities were nice but there’s no microwave. Now, the hotel needs to do a better job at informing their potential customers of some information. First, the shuttle time at the airport. Courtyard is the only hotel whose shuttle timetable isn’t on the board at schipol airport designated bus pick up spot. Secondly there’s a fee for courtyard pick up, IT IS NOT FREE (concerning). Lastly, the hotel needs to do a better job at informing patrons which public bus to take. The bus is bus 300 toward overbus moors but it’s the one on the opposite side of the airport. I made the mistake of getting on the 300 in front of the airport but the driver was kind enough to tell me I was on the right bus but the wrong direction. So I had to run across to catch the one going to the hotel. It court about $4. These are the concerns I had with this.
