Unfriendly, lazy staff. Room was grungy, pancake machine with no batter and bottled water was all that was available for breakfast. Graffiti on the inside of the elevator door.

The room was clean and although it was labeled as non-smoking it smelled mildly of cigarettes. The paint on the walls was warping, mirror in bathroom had a large crack. The window screens were crooked and whoever painted the room left plenty of paint on the window. The good news was that the room was quite clean as were the bed linens. No signs of insects or bed bugs the beds were reasonably comfortable. It was an inexpensive place to sleep before moving on. Hope, on the other hand is a dying town with plenty of trash and unhappy people. A local Pentecostal preacher stood on the street corner with several followers and proclaimed loudly through a bullhorn about the certainty of hell and eternal torture awaiting anyone who did not join his church. It did make air some interesting entertainment.

The hallways and lobby smelled of marijuana. Needs remodeled. Couldn’t get the dish box to play. Bath tub was gross so didn’t take a shower. Fridge and microwave was nice and looked new.

The place has an musty odor, my tv wouldn't work either. They did get the tv on, but only had one channel in Spanish. I mentioned this the next morning, and was told should have asked for a different room.

Room was ok. Floor had something sticky on it in a few places. The flooring was coming up everywhere. It was fine for a place to sleep.
