Secluded and Serene Family Home near the Pisgah Forest & Blue Ridge Parkway

Our house is between Hendersonville & Brevard just a few miles off of Hwy 280. It is located at the end of a road and down a long driveway which makes it very private and quiet. Our property is one acre and is surrounded mostly by woods. The area around is relatively flat and has small farms and homes. It is close to the Pisgah National Forest, DuPont Forest and the French Broad River for nature lovers and is about 30 minutes south of Asheville.

The living room and dining room are joined by a wide arched opening. The dining room has seating for 8. There is a small desk for a laptop, wifi is included - cell phone signal in the area is not always great. The kitchen is just off the dining room and is completely equipped for cooking and baking. Through the kitchen are the laundry room and an exit to the back deck where the hot tub is located.

Great spot for spending time with family

Enjoyed our stay! Nice little house with beautiful surrounding. Great fenced in yard for dogs and big open yard for running around with a creek going through it. We had a wonderful weekend with the family at Starry Nights.

relaxing in the country

had a wonderful time. the house was clean, comfortable and had everything you could need. my only regret was i didn't have enough time to enjoy the hot tub. enjoyed watching the baby sheep next door.

Fabulous!

Perfect location for daytime hiking/biking in Pisgah and Dupont. The teenagers enjoyed shopping in Asheville and the adults enjoyed visiting the local breweries. The house was well appointed with an abundance of supplies. We will be back!

Home away from home!

We always love being at Starry Night. We feel right at home. It is well furnished, without a lot of "stuff" sitting around begging to get broken. I and my son have allergies to mold, mildew, etc., never a problem here. Robert couldn't be better to work with. We will be back!

Peaceful, cozy & dog friendly

We enjoyed our stay at Starry Night. The house & property were very clean & well maintained. The house was very well stocked & very pet friendly (owners provided dog toys, bowls, towels, and fenced dog yard- our dog really enjoyed the toys). The property is very quiet and peaceful. It is located close to Looking Glass Falls, Sliding Rock, Hendersonville, Brevard & DuPont State Park (all of which I recommend visiting). The owners were very pleasant to work with & provided helpful information. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you for letting us enjoy this home!

Perfect for us!

Our family stayed at Starry Night for an April getaway and we couldn't have asked for a better location or amenities. The ability to bring along our older fur baby was fantastic. We are frequent visitors to the Hendrsonville and Brevard/Pisgah area with family close by. The location of this sweet little cottage was tucked out of town the ideal distance to have the mountain feel with the ability to be in downtown in 10-15 minutes! The incredibly equipped kitchen allowed us to make meals and the layout of the bedrooms provided privacy for all. We will cherish memories of the hottub under the stars - our sons favorite accomodation! We will definitely be back to Starry Night

Little piece of heaven

Out stay at Starry Night Horse Shoe House was the perfect getaway. We were close to the friends we were down to visit as well as many hiking trails. It was a short trip into Asheville or Hendersonville - we never lacked for something to do close by. The house was perfect for us. It is very serene and the nights in the hot tub looking at the stars were amazing. The house is clean, very well maintained and as beautiful as it is in the pictures. Robert has everything you need when you first arrive stocked and ready for you. He also has a basket in the living room with guides to eating and entertainment which we found very helpful. I would definitely recommend this house to anyone and everyone who would listen to me! We are already talking about our next trip down and are hoping to book this house again. Thank you for sharing you little piece of heaven with us, we had a fantastic stay!

Best Get-Away

This was our fifth stay at Starry Nights. The location is perfect - right in the mountains, but close to Hendersonville, Brevard, and Asheville. Pet friendly with fenced area was very convenient. The kitchen is well stocked, and the hot tub is a bonus. Robert (as always) was very helpful.

Fantastic Stay!

We had a lovely experience here and the house is just as it as described. It's a lovely home in the mountains with comfortable beds, laundry facilities and an easy location to find. Robert is such a kind person to communicate with and he made sure that our stay was perfect! We are staying another week and Robert was so helpful in accommadating us with that as well! Good spot for those with a dog

Very tranquil setting and good location for heading east to Hendersonville and west to Brevard and access to recreational sites in the Pisgah Nathional Forest and Dupont State Forest. This is a good vacation rental for those with a dog. A small, fenced area is available, and the large, unfenced yard is nice for off-leash play with a dog.

A little slice of Heaven

My family and I enjoyed our stay at Starry Nights! It was conveniently located to all the major attractions as well as having everything we needed right at the house. Loved that it was dog friendly. The hot tub was a nice bonus to come back to after a long day hiking. Robert was friendly and responded promptly to all my emails. We will definitely be back!

3rd stay at Starry Night

This is our 3rd stay at Starry Night, comfortable, quiet, and easy access to major attractions. Starry Night is a home away from home with a nicely appointed kitchen, a hot tub, fenced yard, and Weber Kettle. We visit Asheville area often to visit family and friends and hope for a return stay at Starry Nights.

A great stay! The owner was prompt with communication. The house is equipped with everything you need for your stay and stores are just a short drive away for food, etc Beautiful area. There was an issue with the hot tub and it was handled right away. Would definitely recommend!!

Wonderful

Had a great time at this house it was so well stocked with everything we could need. Close to Biltmore and many waterfalls our favorite was High falls in DuPont forest Looking Glass falls and Sliding Rock in Pisgah Forest were very nice also . Starry Night is quite and peaceful

This house is very clean and comfortable, makes you feel at home. It was centrally located to all the areas we visited, Hendersonville, Brevard, Asheville. House was well stocked with the necessities. Very dog friendly with a fenced in yard with doggy door. Will definitely return when back in the area!

Amazing!

We stayed here for 2 months while we searched for a house to purchase and it was wonderful!! First of all it is fully stocked with anything you could possibly need, it was like being home. Second, it was the best setting, it was quiet and private, beautiful and peaceful. The farm next store had 9 baby lambs while we were there and it was such a great experience for us to watch as they pranced around the field like big bunnies. Everyone was super friendly. It is in a great location, convenient to everything, yet just off the beaten path. We would have moved to that area if we could have found a spot like that! And, it is SUPER dog friendly, equipped with bowls and toys for the pups. And lastly, the hot tub on the deck was the perfect place to enjoy the millions of stars in the black night sky. Book now, you will want to go back every year.

Definitely a "home away".

This home has every amenity you could ask for. The home is spacious and cozy and sits right at the bottom of a small mountain with a stream flowing through. Lots of yard space to enjoy, an outdoor fire pit, and dogs are welcome! Very close to the Blue Ridge Parkway for day trips. You will be very pleased!!!

Clean, comfortable, spacious house with stunning view - perfect place to be snowed in!

My sons and I arrived just in time to enjoy the winter storm of December 2018. Both the owner and property manager made sure we were well prepared for the storm. We could not have had a better time. The house was peaceful and comfortable and the surrounding area stunning - especially covered with snow. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.

Awesome property!

My friends and I rented this cute cottage for the weekend. It was a wonderful experience and we're already talking about renting it again next year. When I had questions, the property manager was timely in answering them, going so far as to make meal recommendations (which was so good!). The place itself was exactly as pictured. It was private but close to shops and restaurants. The hot tub was amazing after being busy during the day. All in all, a very pleasant experience that I hope to recreate!

Peaceful mountain hideaway

Ideal house with mountain views. Location is convenient to Hendersonville, Brevard, and Asheville. Pet friendly with fenced area for dogs. House is well-stocked and clean. Hot tub is a bonus. This is our third visit. We will return again.
