Our small one-bedroom cabins offer a cozy retreat from the world for an individual or couple.

The living room and kitchen area features rough-wood rafters and a knotty pine vaulted ceiling. A gas "Mini-Hearth" offers the ambiance and atmosphere of a fireplace, while a comfortable couch provides a relaxing place for reading, watching TV, or snoozing.

The bedroom also has exposed rafters, and features a very comfortable queen-size bed, and the bathroom features a tub with shower (standard-size tub) with Jacuzzi-style jets.

Price includes "breakfast fixings" ~ we stock the refrigerator for your breakfast with eggs, bacon, English muffins, cinnamon rolls, milk, and orange juice, and also provide regular and decaf coffee for the coffeemaker. (There is a small additional charge for pets.)

- One of our smallest cabins, this cozy retreat has a vaulted ceiling in the living room and kitchen, exposed beam rafters throughout, and a "Mini-Hearth" with gas log mounted on a stone hearth that provides the romantic ambiance of a fireplace. The complete kitchen has a small breakfast area, and includes a stove, refrigerator, microwave oven and coffeemaker. The bedroom features a queen-size bed, and the bathroom has a "jetted tub", which is a standard-sized tub with Jacuzzi-style jets and shower. There's a TV with DVD player, as well as an AM/FM stereo radio with CD/Tape player. There's a futon couch in the living room that folds down into a comfortable double bed for an extra adult or children. As with all our cabins, it has year round heating and air conditioning. This cabin is perfect for the couple who wants a quiet, private retreat from the cares of the world. As you'd expect, it's also very popular with newlyweds.

Horrific!

We knew it was an older cabin but pictures were very deceptive. We got there and just visually decided to make the best of it. The “recliner” had ripped and torn fabric on both arms. Down to the wood. Ok
we’ll deal with old. We unpacked everything and got ready to cook. The stove was gas and only one burner held enough gas to make a decent flame. The burners were so corroded that we could not light them. We opened the oven door and it broke and would not close. I reached under the cabinets to find dirty pots and pans. The large skillet had no finish left on it and was peeling. It was Memorial Day weekend and we couldn’t get another place with our pets so we loaded up and went to Walmart to get a “working” lighter and some cheap pans and a skillet. We also had to buy a few knives. This cabin had literally one knife. A butter knife!! We get back. The owner shows up to check out the oven and says it was good enough to cook in
even with a broken door. Unbelievable! We get ready for bed. A storm was moving in. The owner calls us to tell us the kitchen window leaks
to put a towel there to catch the water. So we move everything off the table and put a towel down. It did leak!! We decided to get ready for bed. I stepped out of the bathroom and felt water drops. Looked up and the entire ceiling is leaking
not a drop
a flood! Into my suitcase on my clothes AND ON THE BED!!! we call the owner back. He said he would come in about 15 minutes. He never showed!!

Cozy getaway

The cabin was nice and cozy. Had all of the amenities we needed for our stay. Food was provided for breakfast and the lake wild life sceneries where refreshing. Skip was a great host and knowledgeable about the area and history of the area. Will definitely book with Skip again.

Very nice

Don't let the secret get out, this is a very nice place to stay and relax. It's right on the lake and 5 minutes from activities in Hot Springs. We recommend this place and will be going back when we get a chance.

Five Points at Lake Hamilton

My wife and I wanted to stay in a place where we could unplug for a week and enjoy nature without camping. We also wanted to do this on a budget. Skip’s cabin delivered the goods: no WiFi, nice and quiet, on the lake, nestled in the forest, cozy cabin where we could cook our own meals. It was a perfect week away from the city’s hustle and bustle. Short drive to Hot Springs NP and downtown activities. If you’re looking for a great “glamping” experience this is it. We’ll be back again for sure.

Perfect fit!

This property met our needs for a getaway weekend to Hot Springs. We liked the location near another property where friends were staying for an event. Skip was a wonderful host and the accomodations worked well for our needs as well as our pocket book. Enjoyed it !
